SPIRITOFTHEBLUES' handicap debut second at Hamilton looks solid form, so she's worth another chance having had possible excuses (trip/ground) last time. Cancelled responded well to headgear when fourth at Beverley, so she is next best.

Timeform Comments

Cancelled (IRE)
Ex-Irish mare who ran her best race for current connections off her reduced mark when fourth at Beverley last time, responding well to this headgear. In the mix eased another 1lb.
Special Ghaiyyath (IRE)
Front runner who won back-to-back last season for James Tate. However, has shown little in 4 outings for current yard this campaign.
Silken Bay (IRE)
Much sharper with debut under her belt (also hooded) when winning a Southwell maiden in April but has looked a difficult ride since (pulls hard).
Spiritoftheblues
Won maiden at Ayr on debut. Didn't immediately kick on from that but showed improved form having made the switch to handicaps when runner-up at Hamilton. Possible excuses next time, so she's worth another chance.
Battosai (IRE)
Still a maiden but was proving consistent for Brian Meehan until a below-par run at Chepstow, after which he was subsequently sold for 14,000gns. Could bounce back on first start in open company down markedly in trip.
