Timeform View

INFRAAD holds a Great Voltigeur entry and would likely be seeking a hat-trick had inexperience not cost him at Chester last time. That outing should stand him in good stead, and he is taken to gain compensation before going on to better things. Tierra Del Toro has shaped well in 2 strong handicaps and is respected with the Beckett yard in red-hot form, while Cannes and Hatteen remain unexposed and have to be feared.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Blue Hercules traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP, 25% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on 4 of its last 5 starts: Sea And Sun has traded at 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on its last 3 starts.

Timeform Comments

Tierra Del Toro
Has shaped better than the bare results in 2 valuable handicaps this year, finishing with running left when third to Lost Boys in the London Gold Cup before racing a shade freely in the King George V Stakes at Royal Ascot. Worth another go at this trip and high on the shortlist with the yard flying.
Cannes (IRE)
Sea The Stars colt who got off the mark when stepped up to 1½m at Leopardstown (good) in May. Went off a well-backed favourite in the King George V Stakes at Royal Ascot but was unable to land a blow having been drawn wide and left poorly placed. He is clearly thought capable of better.
Infraad (IRE)
Well-bred colt who looked a smart prospect when getting off the mark by a wide margin at Pontefract in April but was held back by his inexperience when a slightly unfortunate 1¼ lengths third of 8 to King's Code at Chester 19 days ago. Up in trip and he remains very much unexposed.
Bay Royale
Confirmed debut promise when winning 9-runner 1¼m novice at Nottingham in April and took a further step forward when chasing home promising Knights Charge in a similar event there last time. Open to further progress now tackling a handicap up in trip in a first-time tongue strap.
Hatteen (IRE)
Progressive colt who took another big step forward when landing a valuable 8-runner novice at Doncaster 20 days ago by 4¼ lengths from According To Mark, storming clear. Open to further improvement now tackling a handicap.
Baltic Fleet (IRE)
Yarmouth maiden winner as a 2-y-o but has stepped up a level since being gelded, finishing third of 14 to Arc Ole Ole in a warm handicap at York in May and then chasing home Galilean Quality at Wolverhampton 15 days later. Makes debut for new connections after being bought for £170,000.
Blue Hercules (IRE)
Fairly useful maiden who disappointed in King George V Stakes at Royal Ascot on handicap debut but got firmly back on track when neck second to Tryfan over that C&D last time. Up 3 lb in a tougher race now, though.
Parisian Scholar
A 3-time juvenile scorer who has resumed progress of late, winning 5-runner handicaps at Thirsk and Newmarket earlier this month. 3 lb rise for latest win far from excessive and, while this represents a step up in class, he should continue to give a good account.
Sea And Sun
Progressive maiden who ran well when 4¾ lengths fourth of 8 to Hatteen in valuable novice at Doncaster (50/1) last time. Makes handicap debut and there could be more to come.
