Timeform View

An interesting race in prospect and it's hard not to be impressed with the start FLANN SUNNA has made to his career and he looks sure to take plenty of beating now stepping up in grade. Cut A Dash confirmed his debut promise with a fine fourth in the Coventry last time and can confirm that form from Night In Vegas. Adaay Of Scarlett and Man's Best Friend are others to consider.

Timeform Comments

Adaay Of Scarlett (IRE)
Opened his career with wins at Newmarket and Ascot and found only one too good upped in grade on last 3 starts, latest when 1¼ lengths behind Inner City Blues in 3-runner July Stakes at former course 3 weeks ago. Can give another good account though he's up against some less-exposed types.
Big Cigar (IRE)
Winner of 2 of his 3 starts, opening his account in a 6f Newcastle maiden on debut before finding the drop in trip against him at Beverley next time. Resumed winning ways in 8-runner nursery at York (6f, good to firm) 19 days ago. Takes a big hike up in grade but is open to improvement.
Cut A Dash
Looked an exciting prospect when making a wining debut at the York Dante meeting and built on that when length fourth of 21 to Great Barrier Reef in Coventry at Royal Ascot (6f, good to firm) 5 weeks later. More to come again for yard which very much targets this meeting.
Flann Sunna (IRE)
Twice-raced colt who's made an impressive start to his career with clear-cut successes at Windsor and Ascot, twice sealing matters with an instant turn of foot having travelled with plenty of enthusiasm. Highly-promising individual whose latest effort has been backed up by the clock.
Hickory Lad (IRE)
Well suited by the step up to 6f when doubling his career tally with a decisive success when making all in the Woodcote at Epsom in June. Ran as well as could be expected when 2¾ lengths last of 3 to Inner City Blues in July Stakes at Newmarket 3 weeks ago. Minor role at best most likely.
Jaan Ki Tukri (IRE)
Seemed to excel when finishing in mid-field in Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot in June before making the most of a good opportunity to open his account in a 6f Ffos Las maiden. Yard has a good record in this, including winning last year's renewal, though he faces a stiff task back up in grade.
Man's Best Friend (IRE)
No Nay Never colt who opened his account at the second time of asking in 18-runner maiden at Naas (6f, good to firm) 8 days ago with a bit to spare. Yard hasn't been firing on all cylinders of late but it'd be folly to write him off nevertheless.
Mr Macartney
Leicester maiden winner (5f, good to firm) in April but his limitations have been exposed upped in grade on last 2 starts. Looks out of depth here.
Night In Vegas (IRE)
Impressed when making a winning debut over 6f at Ascot and following up in 3-runner race over C&D. Progressed again when length fifth of 21 to Great Barrier Reef in Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot (6f, good to firm, 9/1) last month. Each-way claims.
Where Love Lives (IRE)
Maiden winner at Thirsk on debut and followed up in listed race at Sandown, holding off Adaay Of Scarlett. Possibly did too much too soon when finishing in mid-field in Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot last month on final start for Kevin Ryan. Interesting stable switcher who now steps up in trip.
