Timeform View

THORNABY PEARL won at Hamilton Park 20 days ago and that form has been franked by the runner-up winning since so he could follow up at the expense of Golden Havana, who is in excellent form with 3 seconds to his name. Wee Mary goes well here so could secure a place.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Golden Havana traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP twice on its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Thornaby Pearl
Won twice at this trip this year, turning in his best effort for over 2 years when beating a subsequent winner at Hamilton 20 days ago. Only a couple of pounds higher here and has capable claimer taking over so he looks sure to go well again.
Thunderstorm Katie
Ran 3 consecutive seconds over 5f-6f in May-June but only sixth of 8 to Thornaby Pearl in a handicap at Hamilton 20 days ago. Returns to Musselburgh where she has a C&D win and holds place claims if back to best.
Peregrine Falcon (IRE)
Yet to win but produced a creditable third of 7 in a handicap on all-weather at Lingfield in June. More required having a rare outing back on turf.
Golden Havana (IRE)
In excellent form with 3 consecutive runner-up finishes, finishing second of 9 in a handicap at Beverley 3 days ago when taking on older horses for the first time. Looks set to go well once more if this doesn't come too soon.
South Parade (IRE)
C&D winner who has tumbled down the weights following a poor year to date. Drops back markedly in grade here, though, so may be able to reveal more.
Wee Mary (IRE)
Won over C&D in June and some of her better efforts since that have also come here. Fourth of 8 at Ayr 4 days ago leaves her with a bit to find upped slightly in grade, though.
