PIERRE ROYAL is still unexposed and can turn the tables with Orandi from that contest, better drawn and better off at the weights with that rival this time. Orandi is a big player himself despite a wide stall, with top-weight Jagged Edge, who was perhaps unlucky in third, also considered.

Won the Irish Cambridgeshire last summer and better than ever when scoring in impressive style on yard debut at Naas in May. Shaped much better than the bare result in Royal Hunt Cup and ran well to finish third of 17 in the BMW Mile here 5 days ago, despite having to make ground widest of all.
Vafortino (IRE)
Is on a long losing run but made the frame in a Meydan Group 2 in January. Ran respectably enough from a poor position when ninth of 28 in handicap at Royal Ascot (7f, good to firm) 45 days ago but might find this a bit too competitive.
Dorset (IRE)
Fourth in the Group 2 Minstrel Stakes at the Curragh 12 days ago and was used as a pacemaker in the Sussex Stakes earlier in the week. Went hard there and has a mark that demands improvement now contesting a handicap.
Dunum (IRE)
Won the BMW Mile at this meeting last season and shaped as if needing the outing after an 11-month absence when down the field in this year's renewal earlier in the week. Will need to step forward markedly given the quick turnaround.
Gleneagle Bay (IRE)
Attracted support and bounced back to form to win for the first time since his debut in 15-runner event at Cork (7f, good) in June. Caught behind a wall of horses and unable to fully open up when 7¾ lengths sixth of 17 to Orandi in the BMW Mile at this course 5 days ago. Drawn wide here.
Orandi (FR)
Winner of last year's Irish Lincolnshire and he was right back to his best after a low-key start to the year when beating several of these in the BMW Mile here earlier in the week. Can go well again under a penalty, although has widest stall to overcome.
Unique Journey (IRE)
Dual winner over 6f at the Curragh last October and was a good second at that same C&D on return in March before finding listed company beyond him at Cork. Badly hampered back at the Curragh when last seen and has run well over this C&D before, for all he's been largely campaigned as a sprinter.
Lord Massusus (IRE)
Smart performer at his best but winless in 15 starts and operating below that level this season, well held in first-time cheekpieces in the BMW Mile here earlier in the week. Tongue strap now applied.
Bold Style
Useful at his best for Charlie Appleby (presumably had his issues). Step back in the right direction when beaten just over 3 lengths on final start for B. Seemar at Meydan in January. Since picked up for £64,000 by a good yard and might've needed his first start for them at Killarney last month.
City House (IRE)
Fourteen runs since last win in 2025 but some good runs in defeat for Ado McGuinness this year, including fourth of 15 in handicap at Cork (7f, good) in June. Left with too much to do over an extended 6f at the Curragh last time but others still make greater appeal for win purposes.
Dark Ace (IRE)
Progressive sort who won on all-weather at Wolverhampton and Lingfield this spring before excellent thirds in big fields at Newbury (6f) and the Curragh (5f) in recent months. Lesser effort back at the Curragh last month but is the type to bounce back quickly, though is drawn wide here.
Far From Dandy (IRE)
Signed off 2025 with a pair of 1m Dundalk wins and returned in even better form this year, finishing an excellent second in the Spring Mile at Doncaster in March and Naas in May. Below form both starts since, though, completely blowing the start in the BMW Mile here earlier in the week.
Dos Mukasan (FR)
Useful performer in France, winning minor events at Longchamp and Chantilly in 2025 but has finished soundly beaten on both outings for current connections.
Pierre Royal (IRE)
Left return/yard debut behind when winning 13-runner handicap at the Curragh (1m, good to firm) in June, displaying a potent turn of foot. Improved again when 1¾ lengths second of 17 to Orandi in the BMW Mile here on Tuesday and can turn the tables with better draw/swing at weights.
Genuine Article
Won over 8.5f here last summer before finishing a close second in Irish Cambridgeshire at the Curragh. Shaped as if better for the run after a 12-week break when twelfth in the BMW Mile on Tuesday but drop in trip isn't certain to suit.
Lir Speciale (IRE)
Ended 2025 with back-to-back wins over 7f in the mud at Doncaster and has been in largely good form this season, faring best of those held up when fifth of 17 at York (7f, good to firm) last month. Didn't get home upped in trip when seventh in the BMW Mile here on Tuesday. RESERVE.
Greydreambeliever (IRE)
Fairly useful filly is on a long losing sequence but ran as well as could've been expected stepping into listed company when 7 lengths fourth of 9 to Pivotal Attack at this C&D (soft) 3 days ago. RESERVE.
Glory To Be (IRE)
Gained a first handicap success at Leopardstown (7f) in April and landed a second when accounting for 6 rivals at Fairyhouse (7f, good) last month. Seemed undone by a rise in the weights at the Curragh (6.3f, good to firm, 25/1) 15 days ago, though. RESERVE.
