Timeform View

TUMBLING IN wasn't able to build on the promise of her hurdling debut effort when third at Killarney last time, though she raced freely that day so is well worth another chance as she drops back in trip. Cool Native is feared most as she returns to further, ahead of Minella Moon Shine.

Timeform Comments

Boston Common (IRE)
Runner-up on last of 4 starts in points back in March 2025, but offered little on Rules debut when tailed off in bumper at Wexford last month. Now switches to hurdles.
Casper Charlie (IRE)
Failed to see things out in a bumper, but sent hurdling he was keeping on when falling 2 out in maiden at this course (21f) in July. Would have finished in the frame last time, though will need to find more again in this contest.
Coral Reid (IRE)
€2,000 3-y-o, Pillar Coral gelding. Half-brother to useful hurdler Judicial Law (17f-3¼m winner) and fair chaser Camino Rocio (2½m-3m winner). Yard looks to hold stronger claims with Tumbling In.
Goodmancon (IRE)
Plenty of chances without winning in bumpers, but placed on hurdling debut in April and was in the process of showing improved form when falling 2 out in maiden at Limerick (2½m) last month, having just moved into second when departing.
Installment (IRE)
After 11 months off, showed his first form when staying on for fourth in 13-runner maiden at Tramore (2¾m) in May. However, failed to repeat that effort when pulled up at Kilbeggan (3m) 11 days ago.
Minella Moon Shine (IRE)
Absent over 2 years since falling in a point, but went close on hurdling debut when second of 14 in maiden at this course (2m) last month. Open to improvement as he goes up in distance.
Rodeo Joe (IRE)
Remote fifth on sole completion from 5 starts in points and fared no better switched to hurdling when pulled up in a 17f Cork maiden 12 months ago. Absent since ahead of first run since leaving Eoin Doyle.
Ruled By The Sun (IRE)
Hinted at ability on second of 2 starts in bumpers, but failed to build on that when pulled up in maiden at Kilbeggan (3m) on hurdles bow 11 days ago.
Seven Towers (IRE)
Fair form when placed on 3 of 4 starts in bumpers and ran to a similar level when third of 15 in maiden hurdle (2m) at Tramore in May. Shaped as if amiss at Wexford (2½m) last time, but had previously looked as if he should be suited by this far.
Who's Going (IRE)
Little impact in a trio of maiden hurdles so far, well-beaten twelfth in 25-runner event at Fairyhouse (2½m) when last seen in April. Looks one for further down the line.
Cool Native (IRE)
Winning pointer who was a promising third on hurdling debut in a Navan maiden (2m) in November. Hasn't kicked on since, though was unsuited by a sharply-run race at Downpatrick (2¼m) when third in 11-runner contest 3 weeks ago. Could fare better back up in trip.
Louve D'arc (FR)
Shaped well on debut when making the frame in a fillies bumper at Galway in October. Tailed off in listed race 3 weeks later, before shaping better than the result when eighth of 13 in maiden at Down Royal in March. Off again since ahead of hurdles bow.
Maple Mornin (IRE)
Went with little encouragement first time up when tailed-off ninth of 11 in bumper at Sligo (2¼m) 23 days ago. Looks to face a tough task making hurdling debut.
Star Cave (IRE)
Placed on 3 of her 4 starts in points, runner-up on final outing in November. Fitted with tongue strap, ran to a modest level sent hurdling when fourth of 11 in maiden at Cork (3m) 25 days ago, left in the frame at the last.
Tumbling In (IRE)
Promise in bumpers and has shown fair form when placed in a pair of maiden hurdles, despite racing freely when third of 15 at Killarney (23f) 18 days ago (fourth won next time). Major player back down in trip.
Xquise (FR)
Poor form over hurdles in France back in 2023. Down the field in handicaps on the Flat the following year for Miss Jennifer Anne Lynch and has been absent 19 months ahead of stable debut/return to hurdling.
Carrigane (IRE)
Maiden pointer but exceeded expectations on Rules debut when fourth of 12 in maiden chase at Kilbeggan (2½m) in June, albeit flattered by proximity as he closed up late. Now switches to hurdles. RESERVE.
Kalico Leader (IRE)
€12,000 7-y-o, Malinas gelding. Dam unraced half-sister to useful hurdler (stayed 25f) Westren Warrior and bumper winner/fairly useful hurdler (3¼m winner) Norton Hill. Made frame both completed starts in points, runner-up in May on latest outing. RESERVE.
Siege Of Milan (IRE)
Sageburg gelding. Dam unraced half-sister to useful hurdler (stayed 3m) On Raglan Road and fairly useful hurdler (stayed 2½m) Overthetop. RESERVE.
