HASHTAG PRETENDER sets the standard on his completed chase starts and has been given time to recover from his early departure at Punchestown. He looks the one to beat. Killeemore Lad and Orkneys Jack may give him most to think about.

Timeform Comments

Hashtag Pretender (FR)
Useful hurdler who made the frame in his first 2 starts in this sphere before coming down early on at Punchestown in June. Holds leading claims.
Impero (IRE)
Useful hurdler who showed aptitude for chasing when fifth at Kilbeggan in June. Not in same form at Wexford since but can't be ruled out here.
Killeemore Lad (IRE)
Winner on Flat/over hurdles who was returning from 2 years off when falling at the last in novice chase at Wexford (2m, good to firm) on debut over fences 13 days ago, looking sure to be placed. Not taken lightly.
Orkneys Jack (IRE)
No impact in a trio of hurdle starts last year but won a point in May and showed much more than previously under Rules when third of 12 in novice chase at Kilbeggan (2½m) in June. Below that level at same course since nut respected nonetheless.
Piccolo Player (IRE)
Fair form over hurdles, winning on his second start last season before placing twice in handicaps. Offered more than on chase debut when third of 7 in novice at Killarney last month but more needed to take a hand here.
Silent Selector (IRE)
Dual winner over hurdles who showed aptitude for chasing when fifth of 11 in novice over longer trip at Wexford on debut over fences 32 days ago. May improve on that.
Swing Time (IRE)
Poor maiden hurdler who was pulled up in handicap at Fairyhouse when last seen 9 months ago. Best watched on chase debut.
