Timeform View

PILGRIMS WALK could have more to offer on the back of his improved handicap debut second at Kilbeggan and gets the nod ahead of Cornaroya Rocco, who, like the selection, posted her best effort when runner-up last time. Moonshine Girl and Ranger Billy are others likely to have a say.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Moonshine Girl traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP twice on its last 5 starts: It's Time Again traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 2 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Nothing Hectic (IRE)
C&D maiden winner last August but has failed to make a significant impact in handicaps since.
Cornaroya Rocco (IRE)
Left previous efforts behind when second of 15 in handicap hurdle at Killarney (2½m, good to soft) 25 days ago. Has been nudged back up 3 lb but a repeat effort gives him place claims, at the least.
Tannery Park
Golden Horn gelding who proved relatively easy to back but posted an improved performance when shedding maiden tag here (2¾m, good) in May 2025. Fact he's been absent again since has to be a slight concern, though.
The Little Yank (IRE)
Veteran who ended a losing run at Clonmel in January. Lost way thereafter (pulled up next 4 starts) but he resumed from a 3-month break with a good third of 15 in handicap hurdle at Kilbeggan (25f, good) and backed it up when filling the same place over fences at Kilbeggan on Saturday evening.
Pilgrims Walk (IRE)
Lightly-raced maiden who posted an improved second of 15 on handicap debut at Kilbeggan (3m, good) 56 days ago. Open to further progress with cheekpieces added, and holds leading claims.
Political Stance (IRE)
Lightly-raced maiden who was second on Clonmel handicap debut (2m, heavy) but ran no sort of race at Down Royal (2½m, good to soft) in February. Off since, and the beting should help guide to expectations.
It's Time Again (IRE)
C&D winner who may have won but for crashing out at the last at Clonmel (2¾m, good) in June, but well beaten back here switched to front-running tactics since.
Ranger Billy (IRE)
50/1, first form for current connections when third of 15 in handicap hurdle at this course (2¾m, good) 20 days ago. Claims if he can build on that.
Poetic Focus (IRE)
Modest maiden. 11/1, thirteenth of 15 in handicap hurdle at Sligo (21f, good) 29 days ago. Others are preferred.
Chanceitlucky (IRE)
Showed a bit more than in maidens when sixth of 24 on his handicap debut at Navan (2m, heavy) in November, but needs another step forward now moving back up in trip on return.
Moonshine Girl (IRE)
Long-standing maiden but arrives on the back of good runner-up efforts at Limerick (2¾m, soft) and Roscommon (25f, good) this summer. Has to enter calculations.
Urbs Intacta Manet (IRE)
Has shown little in maiden and handicaps hurdles to date.
Mini Getaway (IRE)
Reliable sort who has made the frame on 5 of her 6 starts in handicap hurdles and also placed over fences at Downpatrick in May.
Tawny Lea (IRE)
Well beaten on completed starts over hurdles, including handicap debut latest.
Queen Kulina (IRE)
Long-standing maiden but arrives on the back of a pair of in-frame efforts around 3m in recent months.
La Tene (IRE)
Took a step back in the right direction when third of 16 in handicap hurdle (13/2) at this course (2¾m, good) 20 days ago. Not taken lightly.
Lost Features (IRE)
Showed more than previously when fifth of 15 in handicap hurdle at this course (2¾m, good, 66/1) 20 days ago. Needs to build on that now. RESERVE.
Everystep Oftheway (IRE)
Made the frame on 3 consecutive outings in summer 2024 but almost certainly best watched returning from 2 years off this time. RESERVE.
Joshua Chamberlain (IRE)
Opened his account in a Tramore handicap hurdle in August 2023. Showed he retains ability on second start back after a long absence when fourth of 16 in handicap hurdle at this course (2¾m, good) 20 days ago. RESERVE.
