Timeform View

SHIFRA was clear with one who was successful on his next 2 starts when landing a turf classified event here in June and looks on a favourable mark back in a handicap. Crazy Plan looked suited by 1½m when second on her handicap debut so this sharper test is a slight concern but she's a lightly-raced 3-y-o who should have more to offer. Chico Dulce, the mount of Billy Loughnane, and Little Tiger also make the shortlist.

Timeform Comments

Warrnambool (GER)
17-race maiden. Below-form on all-weather for Michael Keady in December and has rejoined former yard ahead of this first outing for 7 months. Has a career-low mark to work with but betting is perhaps the best guide.
Lady Of Chivalry (IRE)
Fourth on last summer's debut for Andrew Balding but well held in 2 outings for new yard this summer. Handicaps provide her with a more realistic chance but other are more persuasive.
Roman Secret (IRE)
Ended a long losing run in classified event at Wolverhampton (9.5f) on reappearance. First run since leaving Kevin & Lauren Frost when eighth of 10 in handicap at Wolverhampton (1½m) 28 days ago. This trip is more suitable but her draw could be awkward.
Little Tiger
Creditable fourth of 13 in handicap at Brighton (1¼m, good) on reappearance 63 days ago. Cheekpieces back on. Can give a good account.
Chico Dulce
C&D winner in 2024 and also successful over 1m here last year. Respectable third of 10 in handicap at Kempton (1m) 34 days ago. Back up in trip. Considered under Loughnane.
Shifra (IRE)
Career best when winning 10-runner classified event on turf here (1¼m, good) 54 days ago. Pulled clear with a next-time-out winner on that occasion and looks well treated back in a handicap.
Arlecchino's Rex
Does most of his racing at Wolverhampton, finally doubled his career tally over 9.5f in March. Placed 3 times since but not at best latest. Draw could be awkward.
Moonlit Cloud
Unreliable sort. Nineteen runs since last win in 2024. 9/1, last of 11 in classified event at Windsor (1¼m, good to firm) 8 days ago. Others are preferred,
Dubai Harbour
C&D winner. Fourteen runs since last win in 2025. Below form on turf latest but could fare better back at venue which suits (also had some good placed form over C&D over the winter). Shifra still looks the stable number one.
Stacey Racey
Proved consistent on all-weather earlier in the year but below par on both outings this summer. A bounce back is needed.
Crazy Plan
Well beaten in maiden/novice company but shaped well when second of 10 on handicap debut at Wolverhampton (1½m) 28 days ago. Looked suited by the increase in trip on that occasion so the return to shorter is a slight concern but she appeals as one who can win at this level.
Lady Aiyana
Third over C&D for the Kublers' last autumn but hasn't threatened since, including in 3 outings for this yard at the start of the summer.
Summer Evening (IRE)
Placed twice on all-weather here earlier in the year (including this trip) but below par in recent starts.
Warriors Choice
Well held in 3 handicaps over 7f/1m, the latest at Wolverhampton after 8 months off. It remains to be seen whether this longer trip improves matters.
