Timeform View

Those with experience don't set the bar too high, so MUGHEER, a well-bred newcomer from a family his excellent yard knows well, could be up to doing the business on debut. Lexington Boom should give another good account, while Ard As A Rock is of interest dropping to the minimum trip given the speed he's shown.

Timeform Comments

Ard As A Rock (IRE)
Showed loads of dash when 2 lengths fifth of 18 in novice at Newbury (6f, firm) on debut 19 days ago. Went backwards at Goodwood but again showed good speed and interesting dropping to 5f from a handy draw.
Mubehir (IRE)
Sioux Nation colt who has offered little in a pair of maidens.
Taj Mahal Palace
Foaled April 10. 22,500 gns yearling, £30,000 2-y-o, Palace Pier colt. Half-brother to useful winner up to 6f Knebworth and 5f winner Golden Rainbow. Dam unraced. Breeze-up buy who makes some appeal on paper but stall 14 is tricky.
True Charm (IRE)
Showed something like his debut form when fifth of 12 in 6f novice at Chester last month. Gelded since and each-way claims fitted with a tongue tie.
Classy Jaguar
Pearl Secret gelding. Half-brother to several winners, including 7f-1¼m winner Ey Up Its The Boss and 5f winner Ey Up It's Maggie. Looked one for the longer term when seventh of 13 in a C&D maiden (good, 125/1) on debut 15 days ago.
Desert Outlaw (IRE)
Has hinted at ability but likely to be of more interest in low-grade nurseries after this run.
Lexington Boom
€23,000 Ardad colt. Dam maiden half-sister to useful 5f/6f winner Clearpoint (by Ardad). Knew job when runner-up in Musselburgh maiden on debut and stepped up a little on that form when filling same spot in a C&D event just over a fortnight ago, albeit no match for winner. Obvious contender.
Mugheer (IRE)
Foaled March 18. Soldier's Call gelding. Half-brother to smart winner up to 8.5f Shayem and 7f winner Negwah. Dam unraced. Yard knows this family well and must be taken seriously on debut, particularly if the market speaks in his favour.
Spectacular Diver (IRE)
Second of 4 in maiden at Pontefract (5f, good, 18/1) on debut but hasn't reproduced that form in 2 runs since. Gelded and needs to get back on track.
Scottys Rocket (IRE)
€37,000 Ten Sovereigns filly who showed only greenness in a C&D maiden on last month's debut.
Ubettabequeen
Foaled May 1. Ubettabelieveit filly. Half-sister to 5f winner Canaria Prince and 5f/5.5f winner Canaria Queen. Dam 5f-6f winner. Bred to be speedy.
Needin' U
Showed more than first time up when fourth of 7 in seller at Musselburgh (5f, good to firm) in June. Hood goes on and further improvement needed.
One More Tilda
Foaled February 29. Land Force filly. Dam 2-y-o 5f winner. Yard 0-9 with its 2-y-o debutants this season.
Tiggywinkle
Harry Angel filly who was very green when down the field in 6.5f maiden at Doncaster on recent debut. Drops in trip and needs a big step forward.
