Timeform View

It's hard to believe we've seen the best of SEVEN SISTERS given her pedigree/connections. She's fancied to resume winning ways on return to a more conventional track, while Supplicate arrives on a roll and stands out as the main danger.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

In a race that lacks confirmed pace-forcers, Supplicate could get the run of things: Of the better-fancied horses, Storm Point is most likely to be ridden furthest from the pace.

Timeform Comments

Seven Sisters
Lightly-raced/well-bred 3-y-o filly. Chased home subsequent winners first 2 starts before getting off the mark in 4-runner novice at Doncaster (1¼m) last month. Did well to get within 1¼ lengths when fourth on handicap bow at Chester since. Strong claims on a more suitable track.
Supplicate
Progressive filly. Won all 3 starts since an eye-catching debut last October, ridden positively/always holding when scoring by ¾-length on handicap bow at Nottingham 2 weeks ago. Encouraging to see her turned out relatively quickly given previous gaps in her CV. Makes plenty of appeal.
Sudbury Hill (IRE)
Improved model for Harry Derham this year. Made the most of a good opportunity over hurdles at Newton Abbot in June. Cheekpieces on first time when narrowly resuming winning ways in 4-runner C&D handicap latest. Vulnerable off 3 lb higher in a better race.
Akho Mezzna (FR)
Has good record under Oisin Murphy, getting off the mark in a course novice (7f) last autumn before runner-up finishes in consecutive 1¼m Sandown handicaps this summer. Didn't see out his race up in trip against Ascot latest but may do better back down in trip sporting more severe headgear.
On The Inlet (IRE)
160,000 gns son of New Bay. Improved for switch to handicaps when making all in pair of all-weather handicaps over the spring. Again below that form on return from 7 weeks off when 5½ lengths third of 4 at Wolverhampton (fourth won since). Longer trip/return to turf both question marks.
Storm Point
€140,000 Blue Point gelding. Firmly on the up when doubling his tally at Newbury (1m, good to soft) in June. Didn't meet expectations over same C&D (good to firm) latest, however, the longer trip could help.
