SLIEVE BINNIAN is very well treated on previous polytrack form and is taken to add a fifth course success to his résumé. Quatre Bras boasts a similar profile and is feared most, whilst Tribal Star won this race last year and is again fancied to run well.

Iron Fist (IRE)
Ended 2025 with a pair of 1m/1¼m wins and bettered that form when placed in large-field handicaps at Cork in April and the Curragh in May. Ran poorly in valuable event at York last time, though, and needs to bounce back. Makes all-weather debut.
Apercu (IRE)
Dual winner in 2025 who bounced back to form returned to soft ground when second of 9 in handicap at Down Royal in June but was below form on quicker ground last time. Return to this track will suit, having won over C&D as a 3-y-o, and yard back among the winners of late.
Genoah (IRE)
A 4-time Dundalk winner who has been merely ticking over on the turf this summer. Will be suited by the return to this venue but has a career-high mark to defy in this sphere.
Star Harbour (IRE)
Veteran who has been in decent heart of late, twice finishing runner-up, including when chasing home Fixation in handicap at Gowran last time.
Touch The Moon (IRE)
Useful form for George Scott in 2025. Maintained his level of form this season, 5 lengths eighth of 18 to Thread Of Gold in handicap at Galway last time.
Crypto Force
Still capable of useful form but remains winless in handicaps. Wears first-time cheekpieces on debut for new yard.
Tribal Star (IRE)
Won this race last year from 1 lb lower mark. Has produced some creditable efforts in defeat in some good staying races this season, finishing runner-up at Killarney before shaping as if still in good form when 6¼ lengths tenth of 18 to Thread Of Gold at Galway last time.
Slieve Binnian (IRE)
A 7-time winner, including 4 times at this course. Has yet to fire this season but has now dropped below last winning mark and hinted at a revival at Leopardstown last time. Makes plenty of appeal.
Beauparc (IRE)
Resumed winning ways at this course in March and has finished in the frame 4 times since off higher marks, including when 5½ lengths second of 5 to Teologia at Down Royal on latest. Cheekpieces worn last time now removed.
Follow Me (FR)
Useful form when winning first 2 starts in 2024: Hasn't been at that level since but has shaped with a bit more encouragement of late, ridden more prominently when 2½ lengths third of 13 to Thatwilldoso at Roscommon last time. Visor replaces cheekpieces worn last time.
Steel Cut (IRE)
Took a step back in right direction when fourth of 11 in handicap won by Admiral Will Brown at Navan last month but disappointed in similar event at Ballinrobe last time
Quatre Bras (IRE)
Dual C&D winner last year who has struggled on turf this summer but shaped a bit better when 2¾ lengths fourth of 6 to Loughrea at Leopardstown last time. Looks well treated now returned to a track and trip that will both suit.
Cala Bonita (IRE)
Dual C&D winner who proved better than ever when winning 13-runner handicap at Galway in July by 1¾ lengths from Zaraahmando, suited by strong pace. Up 7 lb in a stronger race now, though.
Nermal (IRE)
Has progressed with each run to date. Won a 10-runner handicap at Roscommon in June by 2½ lengths from Vantage Code and then backed that up despite being sent for home too soon when 1½ lengths fourth of 15 to Madbadanddangerous at Galway last time. Races from 3 lb out of the handicap.
