Timeform View

RETRO GAL is less exposed than most in this field and Henry de Bromhead's 3-y-o is fancied to get off the mark. Dancing Steve has dropped in the weights and shaped with more encouragement a Leopardstown last time, with Storm Eric also respected given his course record.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Anchors Away traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP, 25% or less of Betfair SP twice and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 4 of its last 5 starts: Wingit traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP 3 times on 4 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Dancing Steve (IRE)
Winner at Navan last summer and went with more encouragement than he had done for a while when eighth of 22 in handicap at Leopardstown (9f, good to firm) 9 days ago. Respected if able to build on that.
Navajo Point (IRE)
Stepped up on his return when a plugging-on fourth of 14 in handicap at this course (1m, 22/1) 34 days ago. Significantly up in trip.
Rising Sky (IRE)
Has been rather in and out on turf since winning at here in March but left the impression she should have finished closer when seventh of 12 in a Navan handicap (1¼m, good to firm) on penultimate start. Beaten by more than lack of stamina upped to 13f at Down Royal last time.
Anchors Away (IRE)
Made the frame twice this season, latest in handicap when fourth of 16 at Fairyhouse in May. Failed to beat a rival both starts since and cheekpieces now go on.
Storm Eric (IRE)
A 3-time course winner who has been running consistently here this year, finishing in the frame on all 6 starts between January and March. No encouragement in a Wexford novice hurdle last week but respected back at Dundalk.
Tortola (IRE)
Yet to score but she shaped well on yard debut (formerly with Andrew Slattery) when second of 15 in handicap at Bellewstown (1m) last month. Returned clinically abnormal at Killarney last time and can be given another chance upped in trip in a first-time hood.
Copper Craft (IRE)
Relatively lightly-raced 4-y-o. Went close in this grade over a longer trip here in late-May and arguably kicked too soon when ¾-length second to next-time-out winner Arch Enemy at Navan (1¼m) last month. Presumably amiss to have underperformed as he did at Ballinrobe 10 days later.
Retro Gal
Back on track in first-time blinkers when fourth of 12 in handicap at Navan (1¼m, good to firm, 12/1) 35 days ago. Stable in good form. Still unexposed at this trip and should go well again.
Barretstown (IRE)
Three-time C&D winner but arrives after 3 dreadful efforts and has plenty to prove.
My Vonnie (IRE)
Remains a maiden after 18 Flat runs. 16/1, eleventh of 14 in handicap at this course (1m) 34 days ago. Significantly back up in trip.
Coul Dore (IRE)
Showed improved form switched to front-running tactics in a first-time hood when just denied at Fairyhouse in June but failed to back that up at Down Royal next time.
Shahada Ace
Won at Tipperary last summer but hasn't fired this season and is opposable again on polytrack debut.
Wingit (IRE)
Good second of 11 at Ballinrobe (13f) 4 days ago last month and a 4-day turnaround provides mitigation for his mid-field finish at Cork 3 weeks ago. Type to bounce back.
Threebiggulps
Tailed off in 3 maidens and 2 handicaps. Cheekpieces are replaced by first-time hood.
Yquem (IRE)
Landed a gamble when scoring in 14-runner handicap at Leopardstown and has remained in good form when making the frame on both outings since, the latest at Gowran 3 weeks ago. Leading player if getting a run. RESERVE.
Chloe's Boy (IRE)
Big prices and yet to make a real impact in 4 maidens this summer. In first-time cheekpieces for handicap debut. RESERVE.
Without Love
Winner here in January and was runner-up in back-to-back handicaps at Bellewstown and Limerick last month. Failed to justify support when sixth of 14 in handicap at Sligo (13.3f, good to soft, 3/1) 10 days ago. Visor back on. RESERVE.
