LETS MINGLE proved much stronger at the finish returned to this C&D when deservedly opening her account 5 weeks ago and a token 2 lb rise should see her very competitive again. Fellow last-time-out scorer Follow Charlie rates an obvious threat, with Just Dottie another fancied to be thereabouts.

Timeform Comments

Lets Mingle (IRE)
Added to last year's C&D maiden success with a deserved handicap success here last time, first-time cheekpieces certainly doing no harm (still carried head a bit awkwardly). Entitled to confirm that form with reopposing rivals, with a bold bid likely off only 2 lb higher.
Harry (SWE)
NON RUNNER.
Summergrounds
Veteran who twice chased home a fairly useful sort over C&D last season. Stepped up on his reappearance when 1¾ lengths behind Lets Mingle in a bunch finish over C&D, the winner slightly better placed on that occasion. Not ruled out off an unchanged mark.
Dream's Ka (FR)
Won pair of 2½m handicaps at Bangor/Uttoxeter this season. Progression came to a halt at the latter course on final start for Dan Skelton before being sold for only £7000 earlier this month. Probably vulnerable off this mark and return to a right-handed track unlikely to help his cause, either.
Cosmic Soul (IRE)
Resumed progress when completing a hurdles hat-trick (4-timer including his all-weather win) at Sedgefield in April. Winning sequence ended with a whimper following 10 weeks off here in early-June. Handicapper may have measure on return from a similar break.
Garde Des Champs (IRE)
Course winner typically struggled to go the pace before closing up to finish 10 lengths second in a 2m chase here last month. Has had plenty of chances to capitalise on falling mark in that sphere. Hard to be confident he'll fare any better back hurdling for first time in over 2 years.
Follow Charlie (IRE)
Had done all his winning over 2½m on ground softer than good (including over C&D) prior to an emphatic success over 2m here (good) on second start this season. A 6-lb rise could be made to look lenient now back up in trip, for all the form of last time doesn't look robust.
O'faolains Glory (IRE)
Better than ever when completing a handicap chase double at Musselburgh over the winter. Found Go North Final at Carlisle too competitive when last seen in March. Hasn't won over hurdles in over 2 years, though does at least return on her latest successful mark.
Just Dottie
Perth regular who is now 3 lb lower than when landing a fourth C&D success last May. Arrives following a lesser effort on the Flat Ayr, though she wasn't far off her best when only beaten 4 lengths here on latest hurdle start in early-July.
Annie Agnew
Best effort came when runner-up over 2m here in 2024. Seemingly hasn't been the easiest to train since, now returning 11 weeks on from a poor second run of the season at Downpatrick.
Struth (IRE)
Fairly useful middle-distance winner on the Flat. Step up in trip saw him finish closer than previously when beaten just over 3 lengths behind stablemate Lets Mingle over C&D last time. This quirky sort is far from certain to build on that, though.
