SARGENT DENNIS was a shade disappointing on handicap debut at Doncaster but this mark really should be within range so he's taken to bounce back in style. Acclaimed Freedom may up his game post gelding operation, with Arishka's Dream one of few in this who may get back on track returned to this surface.

Enhanced his already healthy strike rate in handicaps at Kempton (6f) in January. Hasn't returned from a break in same form, albeit latest Yarmouth run is easy enough to excuse given his track position. Now back on that last winning mark.
Percy's Star
Fitted with cheekpieces and opened his account on handicap debut over 5f at Leicester in June. Found it tougher from an 8 lb higher mark at Newmarket (5f, firm, 17/2) the following month and now back over 6f switched to the all-weather.
Acclaimed Freedom
Fair 7f juvenile winner on the all-weather. Placed twice this summer and latest race at Epsom isn't a performance to judge him on, badly hampered and forced wide. Oisin Murphy takes over on the back of a gelding operation.
Sargent Dennis (IRE)
Built on earlier promise to land 6f novice at Windsor in May. Off 10 weeks before beating only one on handicap debut at Doncaster (6f) 4 weeks ago but well worth another chance to show that his mark is a lenient one.
Arishka's Dream
Narrowly beaten in back-to-back all-weather handicaps following a maiden success over C&D. Disappointed both starts on turf but return to this surface may see him in a better light.
Escape Plan
Gained breakthrough success at Kempton (6f) in March. Little to shout about on turf since but another who may be seen in a better light here.
Fizzy Cristal
Dual 6f winner at Newcastle, stepping forward from her reappearance run for her latest success in May. Just respectable efforts since, most recently at this venue over 7f.
Soca Star (IRE)
Back from 6 months off with a very good second of 8 in handicap at Catterick (5f) in April. Isn't totally straightforward and now back over 6f after failing to land a blow at Pontefract.
