Timeform View

LADIES WELL has made a bright start to her chasing career, winning over C&D before bumping into one at Roscommon last time. She looks sure to go close if repeating either of those efforts with the tongue strap back on. Western Model won off a 3 lb higher mark over hurdles and rates the chief danger back over fences, while Kilkee Bay should appreciate the drop back in trip and can reverse recent form with the inconsistent Cullenwaine.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Tropical Image traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on 3 of its last 5 starts: Malton Groove traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP 3 times on 4 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Oneforgonzo (IRE)
Kept mistakes to a minimum and confirmed return to form when winning 14-runner handicap chase at Killarney in May, beating Sophia Rose by ½ length. Below that level since, though, including back over hurdles and has questions to answer after a miserable display last time.
Smallcraftwarning (IRE)
Has struggled to match the same consistency he showed in 2024/25 this season but has still hit the frame on 3 occasions. That said, he made no impact returned to this sphere at Galway last time and hopes pinned on useful 7 lb claimer working the oracle.
King Ferdinand (IRE)
All-or-nothing sort that has gone with no encouragement since returning from a lengthy absence. Wears first-time cheekpieces reverting to fences for the first time this season.
Kilkee Bay (IRE)
Capitalised on a reduced mark when readily landing 16-runner handicap chase at Roscommon (2¾m) in June. Backed it up with good second of 15 to Cullenwaine off 6 lb higher over C&D in July. Stretched by 25f trip last time and will be suited by this return to an extended 23f. High on the shortlist.
Western Model (IRE)
Confirmed promise of previous run when narrowly winning a 16-runner handicap hurdle over an extended 3m at Roscommon in July. Yet to win over fences but has gone close on occasion and is very much to consider now reverting to this sphere off a lower mark.
Je Suis (IRE)
Maiden who didn't cut much ice over fences last season and posted his best effort over hurdles this time around when third in an amateur handicap at Sligo. First-time blinkers need to have an immediate impact if he's to trouble the principals now back chasing.
Ladies Well (IRE)
Got off the mark at just the second time attempt over fences when landing 15-runner C&D handicap in July. Backed up off 7 lb higher mark when chasing home Another Challenge at Roscommon last month. A repeat of either of those efforts will see her firmly in the mix. Tongue tie back on.
Walk Away Harry (IRE)
Bumper winner who went the wrong way over hurdles but showed more than on chasing debut when 12¼ lengths fourth of 6 to Knockbrack Rambler in maiden at Listowel in June. This is much tougher, though.
Wakey Wakey Man (IRE)
Still to get his head in front but mostly creditable efforts in handicap hurdles in Ireland since joining current yard, finishing 8 lengths fifth of 18 to Private Policy at Punchestown when last seen in May. Unexposed as a chaser after just a single outing in this sphere but this looks a big ask.
Mount Shenshan (IRE)
Maiden chaser who posted a couple of respectable efforts in this sphere in May before struggling on last 2 starts. Step back up in trip likely to suit but up against it in this company.
Tropical Image (IRE)
Matched the pick of her hurdles form at the second time of asking over fences when runner-up in maiden at Listowel (19f, good to soft) in June. However, not in same form returned to a handicap when fifth at Killarney (23f) 34 days ago. Cheekpieces quickly go back on.
Cullenwaine (IRE)
Well supported when snapping long losing run in 15-runner handicap chase over C&D in July by 15 lengths from Kilkee Bay. A 9 lb rise for that success still leaves him lower than past winning marks but his lack of consistency remains a cause for concern.
Malton Groove (IRE)
Remains a maiden after 34 starts. Best recent form when ½-length second of 12 to Fr Gilligansvoyge at Downpatrick in June but not replcaited that either outing since.
