Timeform View

MINERS BRIDGE won here over hurdles and should benefit from his recent return at Cork, so he is taken to capitalise on an attractive mark now back over fences. Gaelic Des Chastys was a model of consistency last season and has gone well fresh in the past, so rates the main danger, while Burru remains fairly treated on the pick of his hurdling efforts.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Miners Bridge traded at a low of 1000.00 and Betfair SP of 25.00 when losing last time, a race in which it raced behind.

Timeform Comments

Illtakehimmyself (IRE)
Low-mileage 5-y-o who deservedly got off the mark over hurdles when landing a 15-runner extended 2½m handicap at this course in July by 1¼ lengths from Cornaroya Rocco. He is one to consider up 7 lb on chasing debut, with his half-brother having made a winning start in this sphere in June.
Kings Jet (IRE)
Surprise winner on Rules debut in maiden hunter at Down Royal last spring and showed first form under Rules since when 4 lengths second of 4 to Anodandawink in handicap at Kilbeggan 12 days ago. Cheekpieces worn that day retained but this a far more competitive scenario.
Gaelic Des Chastys (FR)
Placed in 4 consecutive handicap hurdles (3 at Limerick) following a handicap chase win at Listowel last season. Has gone well fresh in the past and merits plenty of respect now back over fences.
Ollie La Ba Ba (IRE)
Dual hurdles winner but profile is very much a hit-and-miss one. Probably needed his return at Roscommon last time but has plenty to find based on his previous outings over fences.
Burru (IRE)
Justified support having rejoined this yard when winning handicap hurdle here in May. Ran respectably back over fences when 10½ lengths fourth of 9 to Kasper Hauser in maiden chase at Tramore last time and remains on a workable mark in this sphere.
Tippin And Tappin (IRE)
Won twice last season, including at this course but no encouragement to be gleaned from either start this campaign, shaping as if amiss in first-time cheekpieces last time. Needs to bounce back.
Toon Town (IRE)
Confirmed the promise shown on first 2 starts for this yard when winning 11-runner 2½m handicap chase at Limerick in May by 1¼ lengths from One Way Traffic. Unable to capitalise on lower hurdling mark at Cork last time and must defy a career-high mark now returned to chasing.
Seeitoldya
Relatively lightly-raced 5-y-o who was successful sole start in points. Standout effort when fourth on handicap hurdle bow at Cork last summer, but has made no impact since joining current yard including both outings in novice handicap chases.
Shannon Bank (IRE)
Off the mark on second run for this stable in 2m Listowel handicap hurdle in June but wasn't in the same form in handicap chase at Wexford last time. Steps back up in trip now and needs to leave previous efforts over fences well behind.
Miners Bridge (IRE)
Fair hurdle winner at this course and showed a similar level of form at the second attempt over fences when 1¾ lengths second of 16 to May Call You Back in handicap at Tipperary last summer. Considerately handled over hurdles on return and potentially well treated back over fences.
Ferdia (IRE)
On lengthy losing run and simply isn't the force he once was. Opposable.
