Timeform View

IRON SWORD is the narrow form pick on the strength of his debut form so he gets the nod to make it third time lucky. Killeedy showed ability despite being caught wider than ideal on her initial outing over C&D last month and is an obvious threat, especially with her top yard going notably well with its bumper horses at present. The Last Line pushed an exciting prospect close first time up at Cork in July 2024, but his subsequent absence is a concern.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Suresuresure traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP twice on its last 5 starts: Streamhill has traded at 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on its last 4 starts.

Timeform Comments

Con Did It (IRE)
Conduit gelding. Half-brother to numerous winners on Flat, including useful 10.7f winner Summit Star. Dam 5f-7f winner.
Stary Notions (IRE)
Mahler gelding. Half-brother to fairly useful hurdler Lady of Longstone and fair hurdler Seangoell, stayed 25f. Dam (h130), bumper/2¾m-3m hurdle winner, half-sister to fairly useful hurdler/smart chaser (stayed 23f) Mister Whitaker. Bred more for stamina than speed.
Suresuresure (IRE)
Caught the eye when 19 lengths seventh of 17 in a maiden hurdle at Listowel in May but well held at Roscommon since and has little solid form in bumpers.
The Last Line (IRE)
Hillstar gelding who showed plenty when pushing the exciting Windbeaneathmywings close on his debut at Cork (17f) in July 2024 but subsequent absence has to be a concern.
Iron Sword (FR)
Attracted support and shaped even better than the bare result when fifth of 18 in a deep Punchestown bumper on debut in June, doing too much too soon. Not seen to best effect at Roscommon 9 weeks on and is the narrow form pick.
Rocky Alfonso (IRE)
Camacho gelding who proved easy to back but showed ability when fourth of 13 in 15f bumper at Roscommon on debut 16 days ago, suited by emphasis on speed. Improvement needed if he's to reverse the form with Iron Sword, though.
Walkineezy (IRE)
Showed a bit in a C&D bumper on debut but was tailed off in bigger field at Galway since.
Killeedy (IRE)
Jukebox Jury mare. Sister to bumper winner/fairly useful 2¼m hurdle winner Korinthia. Dam (h108) bumper winner/placed over hurdles. Offered something to work on despite being caught wider than ideal when fourth of 12 in a C&D bumper on last month's debut. Tongue strap added and may do better.
Streamhill (IRE)
Shaped with some encouragement on first 2 starts in bumpers for Terence O'Brien. Pulled too hard on stable debut but wasted no time getting back on track when fifth of 14 in 2m event at Kilbeggan in June. Has each-way claims.
