Timeform View

CALLISTERRA stepped forward from her debut when runner-up over C&D last time and she can go one better. Green Bay Dream is also considered after back-to-back placed efforts at Ripon, whilst On Golden Pond produced a promising debut effort at Newcastle and is also respected now on turf.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

A decent pace still shouldn’t detract from the chances of those who race on or near the front end such as Callisterra: The leaders will have to go harder than the predicted pace forecast if the hold-up horses such as Orfilia are going to come into things.

Timeform Comments

Green Bay Dream
50,000 gns yearling, Dream Ahead colt. Brother to 3 winners, including high-class winner up to 7f Dream of Dreams (2-y-o 6f winner). Good efforts when placed in 2 6f novices at Ripon, not unduly punished there last week. Claims again.
On Golden Pond (IRE)
Mehmas colt cost 38,000 gns yearling and £55,000 as a 2-y-o. Showed ability when fourth of 14 in novice at Newcastle (6f) on debut 28 days ago and he can go well again.
Ubetawatchout
20,000 gns foal, 45,000 gns yearling, Ubettabelieveit colt. Green at York on debut and made no impact when sixth of 8 in novice (100/1) at Newcastle (6f) 22 days ago.
Don't Stop Movin
Saxon Warrior colt showed up well considering his pedigree suggests he'd need time and distance when second of 7 in maiden here (7) on debut and paid for early keenness when sixth of 10 in novice at Ayr (7f) 47 days ago. Now drops to sprint trip.
Dontlookanyfurther (IRE)
13,000 gns yearling, £35,000 2-y-o, Space Traveller colt. Bred to be speedy but he was badly hampered around 2f out when sixth of 11 in novice at Thirsk (6f, good to firm, 16/1) on debut 52 days ago. Likely to improve.
Hey Dougie
Ubettabelieveit colt who has finished well beaten on both starts so far.
Whichonesthat
Ardad gelding looked a longer-term prospect when seventh of 8 in novice at Newcastle (6f) on debut 22 days ago.
Orfilia
Foaled February 21. 70,000 gns foal, €52,000 yearling, Too Darn Hot filly. Closely related to winner up to 8.3f Hanaady and useful 5f-6f winner Laoisman and half-sister to 6f winner Pivotal Girl. Yard 1-8 with 2-y-o newcomers this season and makes some appeal on paper.
Piper Cee (IRE)
30,000 gns yearling. Coulsty filly. From a top yard but was too green to show anything when last of 7 in novice at Nottingham (6f, firm) on debut 19 days ago. Better can be expected now.
Commander Keith (IRE)
Foaled May 2. €29,000 yearling, 5,000 gns 2-y-o, Calyx colt. Half-brother to 5.5f-7f winner Lady Onyx and 5f winner Chief of State. Dam, 5f winner, half-sister to useful 7.6f/8.5f winner Two Tempting. Cheap purchase from yard that wouldn't be associated with debut winners.
Seadreamin
Foaled April 17. Aclaim colt. Half-brother to winner up to 6f Dc Flyer. Dam unraced half-sister to smart 5f-7f winner Silaah. Yard 3-33 with newcomers this season but could make an impact in a race that lacks a standout.
Callisterra (IRE)
28,000 gns yearling, Kodi Bear filly. Showed inexperience on debut but improved second time up when second of 9 in novice (4/1) at this C&D (good) 63 days ago. Likely player again.
