Timeform View

OB LA DI ran a cracker from a less-than-ideal position when second at Leopardstown last month and Johnny Murtagh's mare can notch her third career success dropped back in distance sporting reapplied cheekpieces. Diamond Exchange is only 3 lb higher than when scoring here just under 3 weeks ago, so she's put forward as the main threat, with Alice Monet and stable-switcher Guardian of Realm taken to fight out third.

Speckled Meadow has traded at 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Alice Monet (IRE)
Progressed into a useful filly last summer, winning twice before a good fourth of 9 in listed race at York. Showed up well for a long way and is entitled to be sharper for her recent Sligo third after 10 months off and her yard is in decent nick.
Port Of Spain (IRE)
Useful form at 2 yrs, winning 1m maiden at Punchestown and finishing third in 9f Leopardstown Group 3. Ran much better than in the Queen's Vase and would have benefited from a stronger gallop when seventh of 18 in handicap at Galway (1½m, soft) just over 3 weeks ago. Back down in trip.
Diamond Exchange (IRE)
Notched her third success of the year in 11-runner event at this course (11f, good) just under 3 weeks ago, never far away and responding well. 3 lb nudge far from insurmountable so she's one to consider.
Ob La Di (IRE)
C&D winner around this time last year who shaped well when second of 6 at Leopardstown (13f, good) last month, just not quite able to reel in the well-ridden winner having been far from ideally placed. One to be interested in back down in trip in reapplied cheekpieces.
Akecheta (IRE)
Gowran winner last September but hasn't been able to match that level so far this season, including back there (7f, good) earlier in the month. Significantly back up in trip and cheekpieces reapplied.
Guardian Of Realm
Well-bred filly who saw out the longer trip really well having been allowed to stride on when winning 7-runner maiden at Fairyhouse (1¼m, good) 3 months ago. Has since moved yards (210,000 gns) ahead of this return/handicap debut and the hood is discarded.
Mocking (IRE)
Ended 2025 with a maiden victory at Roscommon (10.5f) and confirmed his return to form when fourth of 10 at Ballinrobe (9.7f, good to soft) a couple of months ago. Another bold show anticipated for all he may prove better back over further.
Minella Rockett (IRE)
Made a successful hurdling debut at Limerick early last month and followed up returned to the level in 11-runner handicap at Galway (8.6f, soft) 25 days ago, the uphill finish/emphasis on stamina at the trip playing to his strengths and showing a most willing attitude. Back up in trip.
Quatre Bras (IRE)
Has struggled on turf this summer but ran creditably back at a track where he has a good record when sixth of 14 at Dundalk (10.7f) 8 days ago. Others more appealing back on the grass.
Speckled Meadow (IRE)
C&D winner last October but has struggled to get competitive this season, most recently when ninth of 17 at Galway (1½m, soft) 24 days ago. Others preferred from well out of the weights.
