O'GRADY CRACKER has left his previous form well behind with back-to-back handicap wins this season, cruising clear for success at Cork last time, and he can continue his progress to score again. Ocean Murphy has also taken a step forward on his last 2 outings and could be the chief threat, ahead of Houndsworth.

Timeform Comments

Manoir De Mirande (FR)
Had a tendency to find little prior to winning a Sligo maiden last month. Followed up in novice at this course (17f) 9 days later, before running well in his hat-trick bid when second of 5 at Sligo 16 days ago. More needed as he goes handicapping.
O'grady Cracker (IRE)
Has proved a different proposition in 2 starts this summer, opening account in handicap at Kilbeggan and following up with another impressive display in 18-runner contest at Cork 3 weeks ago. The one to beat with better still to come.
Houndsworth (IRE)
Much improved when making a successful handicap debut in 20-runner event at Cork (2m) in April. Returned to that level when fourth of 14 here 2 weeks ago and he merits consideration as he goes back up in distance.
William F Browne (IRE)
Fair performer at best on the Flat but yet to match that form over hurdles, racing freely when tailed off making handicap hurdle debut at Sligo 5 days ago. Blinkers tried last time now discarded.
Ocean Murphy
Showed improved form switched to positive tactics when landing lady riders handicap (2½m) at Wexford last month. Ran at least as well when second of 6 at the same course 16 days ago and he can make another bold bid.
Nile Star (FR)
Shaped better than he had in 3 quick runs as a juvenile when fifth of 14 in maiden hurdle at Wexford (2½m) in July. However, he wasn't quite able to repeat that effort only 9 days later when fourth of 12 at Sligo (17f) 6 weeks ago. Makes handicap debut.
