Harry Charlton's lightly-raced HYPNOTISED still looked something of a work in progress when going down narrowly at Newbury last time and looks the way to go here. Rosario arrives on a losing run but now figures on an attractive mark and is next on the list, while Zoulu Chief also enters the reckoning on the back of a promising recent Newmarket ninth.

Timeform Comments

Betsen
Won over 5f at Chepstow in May and far from disgraced from low draw when eighth of 20 in the Dash at Epsom following month. Can't be ruled out after a break.
Rosario (IRE)
Winless in his last fifteen starts but comes here in good nick, nearest finish when seventh of 16 in handicap at Windsor (6f, good to firm) 19 days ago. Needs things to drop right but weighted to go well off a slipping mark.
Zoulu Chief
Scored at Wolverhampton (6f) in November. Well held in 2 runs in the spring but caught the eye back from 3 months off with ninth of 13 in handicap at Newmarket (6f, good) a week ago, leading long way. Very much one to consider.
Marching Mac (IRE)
Scored twice in soft conditions last October and back to winning ways with underfoot conditions to suit in 9-runner handicap over C&D in June. 6 lb higher here so needs to hit the ground running after a break.
Quantum Power (IRE)
Completed a hat-trick in 5f Newmarket handicap in July. Not at his best when ninth of 18 in handicap at Goodwood (5f, good to firm) 30 days ago. The sort to bounce back.
Hypnotised
Lightly-raced 5f winner at 2yrs. On the up since being gelded, still looking inexperienced under pressure when a neck second of 12 in handicap at Newbury (5f, good to firm) 2 weeks ago. Likely capable of better still and rates a big player for yard among the winners.
Lipsink (IRE)
A 4-time winner (including over C&D) in 2025. Resumed with a good C&D second in June but only tenth of 11 at Hamilton (6f, good) 8 days ago. Bounce back is needed.
Nuevo Slovo (IRE)
Ayr maiden winner last April who was also an excellent sixth in Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot for John O'Donoghue. Well held all 3 starts this season for new yard. Hard to warm to.
Roach Power (IRE)
Won 5 times over the minimum trip in 2025. Hasn't fired so far this season and came in eighteenth of 20 in handicap at Ripon (6f, good to firm) 14 days ago. Not easy to make a case for.
Havana Smile
Got off the mark over C&D in May but below that level at Goodwood (5f) and over C&D (good) since. Has a bit to prove now.
