MAXIMISING signalled he is ready to double his tally when returning from a break with a very good Kempton second (form been franked) so gets the vote in this competitive handicap. Eazy on The Eye heads the list of dangers after her narrow reverse over C&D last time, while Berry Clever and Bubbles Wonky seem sure to be on the premises too.

Timeform Comments

Maximising (IRE)
Low-mileage 4-y-o who got off the mark at Lingfield (7f, all-weather) in January. Resumed from 3-month break with a very good second of 7 in handicap at Kempton (1m) in July. Winner scored easily next time so big shout nudged up 2 lb.
Stardancer (IRE)
Low-mileage gelding who gained a first win in 1m handicap at Chepstow in June. Backed it up with a good fourth of 10 at Kempton (1m) 17 days ago. Enters calculations.
Bubbles Wonky (IRE)
Gained a deserved first win for current yard in 6-runner handicap at Sandown (1m, good) 23 days ago. Had the run of the race there but this reliable sort is well in the mix with Billy Loughnane now up.
Tribal Wisdom (IRE)
Won 3 times towards the end of last year and ended his time for Ian Williams with a solid sixth at Wolverhampton in March. Needs to hit the ground running for his new yard after a layoff.
Bold Impact (IRE)
Doubled his tally over C&D in July. Failed to get home when seventh of 8 in handicap here (1¼m, firm) 16 days ago so not out of things reverted in trip.
Happy Banner (IRE)
On a losing run but he comes here in good nick, not seen to ideal effect when fourth of 5 in handicap at Sandown (1m, good) last month. Not dismissed eased 1 lb.
Newfangled (IRE)
Back to winning ways at Wolverhampton in April and in good form subsequently until only sixth of 9 in handicap at Brighton (1m, good) 24 days ago. No surprise to see this C&D scorer bounce back.
Berry Clever
Gained a first success on turf at Yarmouth (7f) in May. Back on song with fourth of 11 in handicap at Kempton (7f) 17 days ago. Needs considering from an easing mark.
Eazy On The Eye
First past post (demoted for impeding rival) at Wolverhampton in March. Back in top form of late, beaten a short head over C&D (firm) last month. Can go well again nudged up 1 lb.
Potomac River
Is 0-8 but arrives in good nick, sticking to his task well when third of 7 in handicap at Newmarket (1m, good) 9 days ago. In the picture once more.
Albus Anne
Two soft-ground wins at Bath (1m/1¼m) last autumn. Looked rusty after 6 months off when fourth of 7 in handicap at Salisbury (1¼m, heavy) on her return in June. Can build on it here.
