Not a race for maximum confidence but EDUARDO CALDERON returned to form at Kempton 2 weeks ago and a repeat of that might be enough to see him score if coping with the additional 1f. Super Hit might race more efficiently if allowed his head over this shorter trip, and Amused can complete the 1-2-3.

Timeform Comments

H Key Lails
Made a winning return on the turf at Lingfield (7f) in June and arrives here after a couple of respectable efforts, most recently when fourth of 6 in handicap (25/1) at Sandown (1m, good) 25 days ago. Others still look better treated, though.
Oj Lifestyle (IRE)
Bagged a fourth victory at Brighton in June and put a lesser effort behind him when third of 6 in handicap at this course (1¼m, good to firm) 32 days ago, though didn't really quicken as well as might have been expected when finally getting a gap. Others preferred on balance.
Amused (IRE)
Runner-up 3 times this season, most recently at Sandown earlier this month, but had no excuses back on all-weather when seventh of 9 in handicap (9/4) at Lingfield (1m) 6 days ago.
Here I Bow (FR)
Fairly useful 7f winner when trained in France last year. However, has finished soundly beaten in 4 handicaps for current yard this season, most recently at Newmarket 11 days ago.
Super Hit (FR)
Has done well since joining this yard, winning over 1¼m here and at Windsor last month. Hasn't settled and has essentially looked a very problematic ride on his last 2 outings though, hanging off the bend at Catterick 2 weeks ago. Drop back in trip and still well treated if behaving himself.
Tronido
Resumed winning ways on the turf at Lingfield in May but seems to have gone off the boil judged on her last 3 starts.
Eduardo Calderon (IRE)
Very good Leicester second on his reappearance and returned to form after a couple of lesser efforts when third of 10 in handicap at Kempton (7f) 12 days ago. Longer trip is an unknown but he might be worth chancing.
Uniter
Failed to progress for Andrew Balding. Hasn't managed to get seriously competitive for new yard either, never involved after a typically slow break when fifth of 9 in handicap (12/1) at Carlisle (7f, good to soft) 12 days ago. Up in trip.
