Timeform View

ARENITE looks capable of better again and can make it third time lucky. Ouragan's second at Newbury is a standout in her 4 starts but it was the only occasion she's tackled turf and she could pose a threat if recapturing that form. Harry Who showed promise as he got the hang of things towards the end of his Thirsk debut and is next on the list.

Timeform Comments

Dee's Mochafella
28/1, last of 13 in novice at this course (1m, good to firm) on debut 16 days ago. The shorter trip may help on breeding but still hard to make a case for.
Harry Who (IRE)
11/1, did best of the newcomers when fourth of 10 in novice at Thirsk (6f, good to firm, 11/1) on debut 61 days ago, nearest finish. Open to progress.
My Boo Boo
Second of 10 in novice at Windsor (5f, good to firm) on debut in June and not disgraced in a much stronger race at Newbury since.
Brewster
Foaled April 21. Belardo gelding. Dam, third at 6f at 2 yrs, out of useful winner up to 6.5f (including at 2 yrs) Inyordreams. Check the betting with this newcomer.
Black Gin
Foaled April 18. Mayson filly. Dam 2-y-o 7f winner. The betting should help guide to expectations on debut.
Ouragan (IRE)
Fair form when second over 6f at Newbury (firm) last month. Well below that level on all-weather both starts since but possible a return to turf could spark a revival.
Travellers Girl (IRE)
Made a positive start to hit the frame in a trio of 6f events, including here. Creditable fifth of 11 in maiden at Thirsk latest despite the drop to 5f not looking ideal.
Arenite
Promising runner-up efforts in fast-ground maidens at Redcar (6f) and Doncaster (6.5f) 11 weeks apart. Open to further progress and leading claims.
