Plenty in with a squeak but the vote goes to MERISI DIAMOND, who scrambled home at the Curragh back in April and Thomas Coyle's 7-y-o remains on a handy mark after just a 2 lb nudge. Provided he's ready to roll, he can enhance his good record here at the expense of another track-specialist Earls, with Ninth Crusade and Highbury See See a couple worthy of consideration, too.

Making up for lost time now and made short work of a token 2 lb rise for his Naas win last month when landing 15-runner event at Galway 6 days later, settling things in a matter of strides when asked. Sam Coen's claim offsets a fair bit of an 8 lb rise so he's one to consider.
Engines On (IRE)
Ran a cracker from 6 lb out of the weights when third of 15 in Irish Cambridgeshire last year prior to resuming winning ways back at 7f on final outing. However, has offered little encouragement in 4 runs this season.
Plume Noire (IRE)
Caught the eye when fifth of 20 in handicap at the Curragh on reappearance/yard debut in May 2025 and shaped better than the distance beaten suggested when eleventh of 20 at Leopardstown on her only other start last year in September. Handicapper has given her a squeak on return.
Earls (IRE)
Veteran who found only one too good for the third successive race at Killarney last month. Kept on for third over 8.5f at Galway next time but was unable to enhance his fine record at this venue just under a fortnight ago. Worth another chance.
Tokyo Treasure (IRE)
Lightly-raced maiden who produced his best effort when second of 12 on handicap debut at Gowran earlier in the month. Failed badly to build on that here since so needs to quickly bounce back.
Goal Exceeded
Decisively capitalised on much-reduced mark at Leopardstown in June and has ran at least as well in defeat since, most recently when creditable fourth of 10 at the Curragh (1m, good to firm) just over 3 weeks ago. Each-way player.
Gavoo (IRE)
Rather in and out this season and ran below form without headgear when seventh of 10 at the Curragh (6f, good) 9 days ago. Back up in trip and hopes are pinned on first-time blinkers working the oracle.
Morehampton (IRE)
Tumbled down the weights and posted best effort for some time when good third of 12 at Gowran (7f, good) earlier in the month. Warrants respect nudged up 2 lb.
Punica Granatum (IRE)
Looked unlucky not to win when a short-head second in a premier handicap at the Curragh in May. Things haven't gone to plan since, but she ran creditably having held every chance when third of 14 in maiden at Dundalk (7f) earlier in the month.
Highbury See See (IRE)
Dual winner last year and has shown bits and pieces of promise this season. Has dipped below his last winning mark and this return to softer ground will suit. Each-way shout at forecast longer odds.
Merisi Diamond (IRE)
Dual C&D winner in 2024. Essentially struggled in a light 2025 campaign but confirmed return to form to land a first victory since joining current trainer in 17-runner event at the Curragh back in April, getting first run. On a handy mark and good record here, so big player if ready to go.
Mercurial (IRE)
On a long losing run but was in form back in the spring. Shaped better than the distance beaten suggested when eighth of 14 at this course (7.5f, good) just under a fortnight ago, denied room to work with for most of the closing stages. Handicapper drops him 2 lb.
Ninth Crusade (IRE)
Gelded and showed improved form with a run under his belt when third of 14 in handicap at Leopardstown (7f, good to firm) 11 days ago, doing well to lead for so long having had to make up plenty of ground after an awkward start. Player reunited with Keane.
