Timeform Comments

In The City
Competitive in maidens/novices last summer. Tailed off first 3 starts this season but he showed a lot more in a first-time visor when sixth over C&D on all-weather debut 2 weeks ago. Task now is to build on that.
Forever My Prince
Won a claimer at Leicester on final start for Eve Johnson Houghton back in October. Hasn't yet replicated that form for present stable but his mark continues to fall.
Chasing Gold
Quickly dispelled Nottingham reappearance mishap when opening his account at Yarmouth in first-time blinkers. Quickly back to that level when second there and not disgraced back on the all-weather when third at Lingfield.
Express Train (IRE)
Winner of a Leicester novice last summer but has generally struggled since and yet to fire in 3 starts for current yard this summer.
Rye
Still looking for a breakthrough success but made the frame on her first 5 starts this year. Not ideally placed when sixth at Goodwood in June on latest outing and it would be no surprise to see her thereabouts after a break (has run well fresh).
Blackjack
Veteran who was well held at Southwell last time but his close third over 7f here the time before puts him firmly in the mix.
Phil's Dream (IRE)
Winner of a classified event over C&D in March. Struggled in turf handicaps at Naas since but he's better on the all-weather.
Mister Mcgregor (IRE)
Long-standing maiden who was placed here (7f) and at Chepstow in June but has been below par since.
Piddie's Pearl
Free-going sort who has little form to her name.
She Went Whoosh (IRE)
Best effort for a while when runner-up at Bath in May but has shown little form since.
Royal Justice (IRE)
Limited maiden. Headgear applied.
