Timeform View

Runner-up on handicap debut, EYE CONTACT faced a tough ask at Killarney on his latest outing and he is taken to get back on track as he drops in grade. Dairy Force had been in good form prior to falling last time and rates next best, with Rockstown Girl also in the mix.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Eye Contact traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP, 25% or less of Betfair SP twice and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 4 of its last 5 starts: Warmer Days Ahead has traded at 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Kamino Bello (FR)
Clear-cut winner of a Sligo maiden (2¼m) on hurdling debut last spring. Hasn't kicked on in handicaps this season, though, running poorly in 2 quick runs at Killarney in July. Drops back in grade but others still more persuasive.
Imarajan (IRE)
Confirmed promise of previous effort when winning maiden here in July, though was helped by the eventual runner-up suffering tack issues. Unsuited by how the race developed when mid-field on handicap debut at Galway (2¾m) 5 weeks ago.
Jacko Star (IRE)
Promise when making the frame all 3 starts in maidens but has disappointed in a pair of handicaps, fitted with a hood when well-beaten fourth of 7 at Punchestown in February. Needs to get back on track after 7 months off. Tongue strap added.
Rockstown Girl (IRE)
Fair hurdler/chaser who got back to winning ways in handicap hurdle at Down Royal in March. Placed on next 3 outings and shaped as if still in good heart when sixth of 14 in maiden chase at Wexford in June. Merits consideration back hurdling.
Cocovic (IRE)
Runner-up 3 times in maidens last year and shaped encouragingly when third on handicap/seasonal debut at Limerick in May. Failed to build on that next time, though was hampered by a faller when unseating at the fifth at this course 13 days ago.
Dairy Force (IRE)
Without a win since hurdling debut (when trained by Liam O'Brien) but enjoyed a good spell this summer, runner-up twice and a creditable third of 6 at Tramore in August. Not for the first time was let down his jumping at Down Royal (17f) 6 days ago, though he's capable of getting involved.
Eye Contact
Good efforts when runner-up in handicap at Ballinrobe and conditionals maiden at Cork this summer. Raced from out of the weights when sixth of 10 in a Killarney handicap (17f) 2 weeks ago, so he's worth another chance back off his proper mark here.
Butch Coolidge (IRE)
Left previous efforts behind after 6 months off when winning 2¾m maiden at Tramore in May. Stiff task from 4 lb out of the weights on handicap debut at Killarney 12 days ago, so this run should reveal more.
Sea Of Doubt (IRE)
Shed maiden tag in mares handicap hurdle at Downpatrick (2¼m) in May and placed 3 times since (including over fences). However, back over hurdles she was never involved after an early error when sixth of 9 in mares handicap at Tramore (2m) 20 days ago.
Following Orders (IRE)
Fair form over hurdles at best but hasn't managed to match that level in 4 starts over fences this season, weakening in third when falling at the last in handicap at Wexford in August. Makes handicap hurdle debut.
Premier Rogue (IRE)
Placed in a Thurles maiden (2m) on hurdling debut in December but that remains his best effort, failing to meet market expectations when down the field in 2m handicap here in May. Interesting to see if the support returns as he goes up in trip after a break.
Blue Reed (FR)
Finally off the mark in handicap at this course in May and placed here the last twice, though seemed to find the test too much when third of 15 on latest outing 13 days ago.
Smackwater Jack (IRE)
Doubled his tally for this yard at Punchestown (3m) in June and backed that up with placed efforts next 2 starts, including at this course. However, found his run of good form coming to a halt at Roscommon last time. Drops back in trip.
Warmer Days Ahead (FR)
Progressive over hurdles in 2024 and made a promising return from 13-month absence when third in handicap at Punchestown (3m) in December. Below form last 3 starts, though, pulled up given another try over fences in April (reportedly bled). Visor applied back down in trip.
Bobby Kirova
Little impact in Flat handicaps for present stable but showed more sent hurdling when third in maiden at Sligo (17f) in July. Ran to a similar level here next time, but lesser effort at Tramore 18 days ago. Makes first handicap start in this sphere.
Tribal (FR)
Making fourth start in maiden hurdles, offered a bit more than previously when fifth of 12 at Sligo (17f) in July. Has something to find, though, as he goes handicapping with hood fitted.
Tudorista (IRE)
Previously trained by Gavin Cromwell and offered some encouragement on seasonal/stable debut when making the frame in mares handicap at Cork in July. However, has failed to repeat that in 2 subsequent outings, well held in similar event at Wexford last time. RESERVE.
