Timeform View

Several hold claims and it's handicap debutant CHOSEN ONE who gets the nod to open her account. Hexagonal has run well off similar marks before and is entitled to be in the mix, while Darkdeserthighway shouldn't be too far away either.

There is a chance of a pace burnout early, and Chosen One and Hexagonal are two who could suffer: There is a chance of a pace burnout early, and Sinbad My Dad and Daonethatgotaway are two who may benefit from being produced later.

Timeform Comments

Solomon Coop (IRE)
Won twice during the early part of 2025 but ended the year out of sorts. Best watched after 8 months off.
Areana (IRE)
Won first 2 of 3 starts in 2025, including over C&D, before being found out in much better company at the Curragh when last seen. Market best guide after almost a year off.
Darkdeserthighway (IRE)
Left the impression she should have won when second in 22-runner handicap at Leopardstown in August. Faced stiff task at the weights but probably remains in form when making frame in Roscommon claimer 17 days ago. Yard in good form and looks sure to go well.
Doctor Grace (IRE)
Course winner who ended long losing run at Roscommon in May but ran below form on last 2 starts back in June.
Sinbad My Dad (IRE)
Fairly useful gelding with just the sole win to his name. Soon back on track when second of 16 in handicap at Naas (11f, good to firm, 11/1) 12 days ago. Cheekpieces go back on and merits consideration.
Solomon
Winner of a claimer for Denis Hogan last year but hasn't built on early promise for this yard is yet to fire for current yard. Work to do after 6 months off and the tongue strap goes back on.
Berto Ramirez
Successful in maiden hurdle at this course in May. Winless on Flat but made frame both starts in this sphere this year, latest when fourth of 7 in handicap at Tramore (1½m, good to soft) 20 days ago. Each-way claims.
Daonethatgotaway
Ran well at Dundalk last winter, scoring over 1½m there in February. Hasn't been in same form back on turf since.
Hexagonal (IRE)
Took advantage of a drop in grade when getting off the mark at Gowran in July and bounced back to winning ways in Roscommon claimer the following month. Looks on a competitive mark back in a handicap.
Enchanted Lady
Fair maiden. In first-time cheekpieces, not seen to best effect when seventh of 16 in handicap (10/1) at Roscommon (1½m, good) 17 days ago, not ideally placed. Others preferred.
Lough Leane (IRE)
Hard to catch right but ended long losing run at Ballinrobe in May. Back to form when fourth of 16 in handicap at Naas (7f, good, 11/1) 32 days ago. Back up significantly up in trip and can make presence felt.
Showyoutheropes (IRE)
Showed a bit on first 2 starts for yard at Dundalk earlier this season but hasn't gone on since.
Chosen One (IRE)
Maiden whose best effort was second in maiden here in July. In first-time cheekpieces, better than result when eighth of 11 in maiden at Cork 21 days ago, meeting trouble. The headgear's discarded whilst a tongue strap is now added. Well-bred sort who could have a lenient opening mark.
Sweet Baby Zou
Career best when winning handicap at Gowran in June. Shaped well when third of 9 in handicap at Killarney (1m, good, 8/1) 14 days ago, nearest finish. Significantly up in trip and should continue to give a good account.
A Pretty Penny (IRE)
Off the mark at Ballinrobe in May and found some improvement to score in minor event at Tramore (1½m, good to soft, 9/2) 20 days ago. Has work to do. RESERVE.
Good Man Jack (IRE)
Lightly-raced maiden. Eighth of 13 in handicap (8/1) at Navan (1m, good) 8 days ago. Significantly back up in trip. RESERVE.
Chestnut Palace (IRE)
Fair maiden. 14/1 and in first-time cheekpieces, creditable fourth of 16 in handicap at Limerick (1½m, good to soft) when last seen in June. Blinkers go on this time. RESERVE.
