Timeform View

Having chased home a subsequent scorer on her return at Uttoxeter in July, JAMMY JAY was far from disgraced when fourth in a stronger race back at that venue 6 weeks ago and she's fancied to open her account back down in grade. I Heard A Rumour has an unexposed profile for the Skeltons and any confidence behind her on return/handicap debut would be noteworthy.

Timeform Comments

Jammy Jay
6-y-o mare who remains a maiden following 12 starts but she ran well after 6 months off when chasing home a next-time-out winner at Uttoxeter (2m) in July. Not disgraced when fourth back at 2½m later that month and she's one of the likelier types back down in trip after 6 weeks off.
I Heard A Rumour (IRE)
Chasing type on appearance and related to winners but no more than minor promise in trio of qualifying hurdle runs during second half of last season. Switch to handicaps in her favour on return and no surprise to see her do better for her top stable.
Prettylady (FR)
4-y-o filly who was much improved when landing first 2 starts in handicaps at Stratford/Southwell initially this season. Followed those with 2 distinctly low-key efforts more recently but undergone a breathing operation ahead of this and bounce back not ruled out. Wears first-time cheekpieces.
Daring To Dream
Maiden who shaped better than the bare result on the back of a breathing operation at Uttoxeter in July and confirmed herself back in better form with usual hood refitted when fourth at Cartmel (17f) later that month. Eased 3 lb ahead of this but she does need to keep the errors at bay.
Northern Rose (IRE)
Twice a runner up at Stratford prior to belatedly opening her account in an 11-runner mares hurdle at Uttoxeter (2m) in July. Followed that with a poor run back at first-named venue since, though, and revised mark demands that bit more.
Miss Fedora (IRE)
Unreliable type for Seamus Mullins who took a step back in right direction for current yard with sixth of 14 in 2m handicap at Stratford (2m) in June. However, pulled up next time and was only fifth from out of the weights at Stratford (19f) 10 days ago. Others more appealing.
