ROSA INGLESA was value extra when beating Nanino Niyati over C&D in July, so Charlie Fellowes' 3-y-o is taken to uphold the form off similar terms. Seren Star was a close third in the Kensington Palace here on her penultimate start so she is another to consider, along with the progressive Luna Celeste.

Maiden winner for Daniel & Claire Kubler in 2025 and has progressed into a useful sort for current yard, scoring at Newbury before close fourth behind Rosa Inglesa over C&D. Only just failed at Glorious Goodwood since and another bold bid is anticipated.
Seren Star (IRE)
Progressive 3-time winner in 2025 who stepped up on her return with an excellent close third (in a first-time tongue strap) of 24 in the Kensington Palace at Royal Ascot over C&D. Disappointed in listed event at Hoppegarten next time but no surprise if she bounced back with tongue strap re-applied.
Orion's Belt (IRE)
Highly tried since winning a Newmarket maiden on her second start last summer and on a very stiff-looking mark for her handicap debut as a result.
Tryst (IRE)
On the up since dropped to 7f and fitted with cheekpieces, winning back-to-back at Yarmouth and Newmarket. Soft ground was the obvious excuse at York since so wouldn't want any rain back up in trip.
Rosa Inglesa
Progressive in handicaps this season, winning at Nottingham and over C&D. Also a very good third of 30 in the Sandringham at the Royal Meeting in between those wins. Not seen to best effect in listed race at Deauville 4 weeks ago and expected to bounce back here.
True Test
Ran right up to her best when sixth of 30 in Sandringham at Royal Ascot over C&D but not in the same form on her next 2 starts and she's proving hard to win with.
Luna Celeste (IRE)
Improved a chunk this time when making it 3 wins from her last 4 starts in convincing fashion at Pontefract 3 weeks ago. Faces a 7 lb higher mark in deeper race but she can't be taken lightly.
Electrifarhh
Successful on second start as a juvenile. Seen only once last year but she showed more than previously when close third (behind Nanino Niyati) at Glorious Goodwood. Didn't entirely convince under pressure when sixth at York, though longer trip perhaps began to tell. Hood left off.
Date Line
Time Test filly who confirmed debut promise when off the mark in smooth fashion in Newmarket novice last summer. Ran a cracker under a penalty after 14 months off there 3 weeks ago but a relatively quick turnaround and a stiff opening mark are the concerns.
Applesandpears
Registered back-to-back victories in all-weather novice events in 2025 and stepped up appreciably on her return with a close third at Carlisle. However, not at that level on both starts since and headgear is now applied.
