Timeform View

ARNAZ wasn't seen to ideal effect but still emerged with a lot of credit when sixth in a big field at Brighton last time and can quickly bounce back to winning ways here to bag a third success of 2026. Good Earth has slipped to his last winning mark and heads the list of dangers, while Yes Walim, Stock Market and Lahina Bay also need factoring into this very open handicap.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Rory's Royale traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP twice and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 3 of its last 5 starts: Jimmy Knocker traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 2 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Distant Rumble
Resumed winning ways over C&D in the spring and in good form since until beating only one in handicap at Newbury (6f, good to firm) in July. Needs to bounce back.
Good Earth (IRE)
A 3-time 6f winner early in 2026. Posted a respectable fourth of 9 in handicap at Sandown (5f, good to soft) 10 days ago. Back on his last winning mark now so not without interest.
Jimmy Knocker (IRE)
Winless this season and added to a patchy record with seventh of 10 in handicap at Newmarket (6f, good to firm) last time. Others are preferred.
Come On Eibhlin (IRE)
C&D winner. Largely in good nick this season, a never-nearer third of 6 in handicap at Nottingham (6f, good to firm) 27 days ago. Not out of things, especially if she gets a strong pace to aim at.
Noelies Dream
Lightly-raced sort who got off the mark in 5f nursery at Newcastle in November. Off since a below-par fifth of 6 at Southwell (5f) following month. Needs to hit the ground running on his belated return.
Punchbowl Flyer (IRE)
Won back-to-back 6f handicaps at Chepstow and Ffos Las in June. Ran poorly in handicap at Lingfield (6f, all-weather) 23 days ago. Bounce back needed from this 3-time C&D winner.
Monsieur Patat
Gained a third C&D victory last August. Winless since and went too freely when fifth of 7 in handicap at Ffos Las (6f, good) 34 days ago. Not ruled out if settling better here.
Arnaz
Bagged a pair of 6f Chepstow handicaps in August. Unable to lead from a high draw when a solid sixth of 16 in handicap at Brighton (6f, good) 15 days ago, nearest finish. Expected to be bang there eased 1 lb.
Rebel Path (FR)
On a losing run but ran well in first-time cheekpieces when third at Newmarket in July and run best ignored (poorly drawn) when eighth of 12 there (6f, good to firm) since. Needs considering in a change of headgear.
Rory's Royale
Fair maiden handicapper. Not totally disgraced when sixth of 7 in handicap at Lingfield (7f, all-weather) in February. More is needed in a first-time visor after 6 months off though.
Havana Halo
Low-mileage filly. Posted her best effort of the season with second of 5 in handicap over C&D (good to firm) last month. Possibilities if building on it now.
Zoulu Warrior (IRE)
Back-to-back 6f winner on the all-weather in December but has struggled off a revised mark since. More is required despite a falling mark.
Lahina Bay (IRE)
C&D winner. Back in good nick of late, runner-up in handicaps over C&D and at Lingfield (6f, all-weather) recently. Can make her presence felt again off the same mark.
Yes Waliim (IRE)
Got off the mark under this rider in 7f handicap at Lingfield in August and backed it up with a good C&D second 3 weeks ago. Not taken lightly nudged up 2 lb in first-time cheekpieces.
Stock Market
Is 0-14 but has recorded creditable placed efforts on 4 of his last 5 starts, shaping as if the run was needed after a break when third at Lingfield (5f, all-weather) 23 days ago. Not out of things in refitted blinkers.
