Timeform View

LIZZIE BENNET shaped well when splitting a couple of subsequent winners at Carlisle so is fancied to go one better. Newcomers From Afar and La Torre are a pair of well-bred fillies from top stables so they need keeping an eye on.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Lizzie Bennet traded at a low of 9.00 and Betfair SP of 34.00 when losing last time, a race in which it raced towards the rear and travelled strongly early on.

Timeform Comments

Ferrystream (IRE)
Mehmas filly who made a successful debut in novice at Windsor. Failed to settle in what looked a useful event at Newbury so worth another chance, though 7 lb penalty and extra 1f are the concerns.
Blue Vixen
48,000 gns yearling, 32,000 gns 2-y-o, Blue Point filly. Dam unraced. Little short-term encouragement in a Kempton maiden.
Divine Concerto
Showed little in 2 maidens this summer.
From Afar
Foaled April 3. Baaeed filly. Half-sister to several winners, including smart 9f-11f winner Mondego and useful 2-y-o 7f winner West End Girl. Dam 7f winner. Interesting newcomer from a powerful yard.
Lady Nenaz
€60,000 yearling, Hello Youmzain filly. Dam, unraced, closely related to high-class winner up to 1¼m Lily of The Valley and very smart winner up to 9.5f (stayed 1½m) Mubtaahij. Always behind in Kempton novice.
La Torre
Lope De Vega filly. Half-sister to 2-y-o 7f winner Hard To Resist and 1¼m winner Queen's Companion. Dam, winner up to 1m (2-y-o 6f winner), half-sister to very smart 7f-9.5f winner Usherette. In excellent hands and is bred to make an impact as a juvenile.
Lizzie Bennet
Dark Angel filly. Half-sister to smart 7f winner Poet Master (won on debut). Dam 2-y-o 6f winner. Showed plenty to work on when runner-up at Carlisle 4 weeks ago, splitting a pair of next-time-out winners. Should take the beating.
Sweltering
Palace Pier filly. Half-sister to smart winner up to 1m Holloway Boy and useful 2-y-o 6f/7f winner Humidity. Dam unraced. Showed ability in a Kempton maiden and expected to take a step forward given her profile.
Zirconic
110,000 gns foal, 70,000 gns yearling, Showcasing filly. Half-sister to Italian 2-y-o 9f winner Drago Blues. Dam, useful French/US 7f/1m winner. Yard's 2-y-os have looked well forward this year but this one looked in need of the experience at Newmarket last month.
