MORO ROCK wasn't disgraced returning from a 10-month absence in a race that's worked out well at Market Rasen in June and, having slipped below his sole winning mark, he could be the answer. Dr Seb is worth another chance to build on a mildly encouraging stable debut now dropped further in grade and is narrowly preferred for forecast purposes to stablemate East Eagle, who is back up in the weights after running out a wide-margin winner of a thin race at Stratford.

Completed a Uttoxeter double in the summer of 2024 for Olly Murphy. Very lightly raced since and, although he went backwards from a mildly encouraging stable debut when pulled up at aforementioned track last time, it's interesting Brian Hughes now takes the ride down further in grade.
East Eagle (IRE)
Bounced back to something like his best as he convincingly resumed winning ways in a weak race at Stratford (3¼m, good to firm) 52 days ago, driven out. Will likely find life tougher from a 6 lb higher mark.
Lipstick Traces (IRE)
Placed all 3 starts in bumpers and in a couple of maiden hurdles in the spring but isn't progressing and underperformed making a somewhat belated handicap debut here (2½m) 12 days ago. Upped markedly in trip.
Moro Rock (IRE)
Finally off the mark at Stratford (3¼m) last summer. Mixed bag thereafter, though wasn't disgraced returning from a 10-month absence at Market Rasen in June and needs considering from a 1 lb lower mark.
Luminaries (IRE)
Had a cracking spell over hurdles in spring of last year, winning 4 times. More poor efforts than good ones since, though, failing to build on the minor promise of his last run when only seventh of 10 at Uttoxeter latest. Upped in trip with first-time blinkers applied.
Time Was (IRE)
Long-standing maiden under Rules who hasn't got going at all this season, struggling from home turn at Cartmel on most recent outing. Fitted with a first-time tongue strap up in trip.
