Timeform View

ZERMATT STAR showed the benefit of cheekpieces when taking her form up a level to gain a first win at Ripon last week and looks the way to go under a 6 lb penalty. Tee Aitch Aye is feared most on the back of his own recent success at Hamilton, while Hostility can't be discounted in his current vein of form.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Hostility traded at more than 10 times Betfair SP and 2 times Betfair SP when winning on 2 of its last 5 starts: Swift Salian traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on 3 of its last 5 starts.

Rewired
Scored over hurdles at Hereford in May 2025. Resumes from 15 months off for his first Flat run since 2021 so best watched here.
Swift Salian (IRE)
Runner-up on his first 3 runs at 1m this season but he's failed to beat a rival at Hamilton and Beverley on his last 2 starts. This course winner has plenty to prove.
Arkenstaar
Thrived last autumn when a 3-time 1m winner. Ran well on his return with third at Hamilton (1m) but off since coming in last of 10 at Pontefract (1m) later in May. Needs to hit the ground running.
Barley (IRE)
On a very long losing sequence but in good form this season until only thirteenth of 19 in handicap at York (1m, good to soft) 3 days ago. This C&D winner is the sort to bounce back.
Hostility (IRE)
Not the most straightforward but has landed a couple of C&D successes this summer. Posted another good effort when third of 9 in handicap over C&D (good to soft) 21 days ago. Not ruled out in his current mood.
Spiritoftheblues
Winless since his debut but she's proving consistent this season and wasn't disgraced with fourth of 5 in handicap at Leicester (1m, good to firm) 31 days ago. No forlorn hope.
Albemagic
Al Kazeem gelding. Runner-up (around 1m) in small-field events at Chester and Pontefract this summer. Needs to build on it at these weights now going handicapping.
Zermatt Star (IRE)
Ex-Irish maiden. Just third run for her new yard when much improved in first-time cheekpieces to land 13-runner handicap at Ripon (1m, good to soft) 8 days ago. Big shout under a 6 lb penalty.
Tee Aitch Aye (IRE)
Back in very good form of late and he readily doubled his tally in 10-runner handicap at Hamilton (1m, soft) a week ago. Can go well again under a 5 lb penalty.
Bellasio (IRE)
Has a fine Carlisle record and gained a first win of 2026 there (9f, good) in July. Well held at Wolverhampton and Ripon since but no surprise to see him bounce back returned here.
Epidavros (IRE)
Took this in 2024. Largely in good nick this season until coming in last of 8 in handicap here (9f, good to firm) 13 days ago. Blinkers go on for first time with bounce back required.
