MARCO POLO was caught out by the quick step up in grade at York last time but he had shaped with plenty of promise on debut and looks to have been found an ideal opportunity to get off the mark. Timucua Gold is bred more for speed than stamina and should be suited by the 6f trip, while Revelator took a step forward when third at Navan.

525,000 gns Night of Thunder brother to smart William Haggas 3-y-o Saber Strike. Lots of promise when second of 19 in 6f maiden on debut at Curragh. Still raw/green when failing to justify strong support (13/8f) in Gimcrack Stakes at York last time. Likely to be very hard to beat back in a maiden.

Down the field in a pair of maidens at the Curragh last month. Drops significantly in trip here.
