Timeform View

The rapidly progressive SILVER LAKE did particularly well to score at York last time and the 4-timer looks on the cards for the William Haggas-trained grey. Nochebuena's Ascot form looks strong and she can improve further on just her second handicap outing, with the similarly-improving Ruby Wedding also making plenty of appeal in a hot-looking race.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Silver Lake traded at a high of 3.25 and Betfair SP of 2.24 when winning last time, a race in which it raced in mid-field.

Timeform Comments

Salamanca City (IRE)
Strong-travelling mare has flourished this summer, scoring for the third time this season at Ripon in July and running at least as well when second in the 13-runner Lanark Silver Bell at Hamilton (1½m, good) 21 days ago. Up another 2 lb but entitled to respect.
Aequitas (FR)
Made winning debut at Hamilton before taking 4-runner novice at Ripon (12.1f) last September. However, struggled in listed races on her next 2 outings, albeit looking unsuited by heavy ground here on the latter. Makes handicap debut after 10 months off.
Silver Lake
Highly-progressive filly did particularly well to overcome repeated trouble in running to complete the hat-trick in a 14-runner handicap at York (10.3f, good to soft, 11/10) 21 days ago. Up another 6 lb but remains the one to beat with further progress likely.
Green Sky (IRE)
Has thrived for a change of scenery, completing the hat-trick in straightforward fashion over longer trip at Newbury in July. Acquitted herself well under this apprentice to finish third in a strong 9-runner handicap at Goodwood 2 weeks ago but handicapper might now be in control.
Thatwilldoso (IRE)
Arrives at the top of her game, winning a handicap at Roscommon (for second year running) in June before being collared only late on at the Galway Festival. Resumed winning ways in a 5-runner handicap at Sligo (10.5f, good to soft) 37 days ago and she should continue to hold her form.
Nochebuena
Study of Man filly who saw out this trip well when making third start a winning one at C&D in June and again showed a likeable attitude when forcing a progressive rival to pull out all the stops in a 7-runner handicap at Ascot (1½m, good to firm) 63 days ago. Open to further progress.
Ruby Wedding
Sea The Moon filly who is going the right way for excellent yard. Off the mark at Hamilton before chasing home an unexposed one in a borderline useful event at Newcastle. Back to winning ways with a bit up her sleeve in a 7-runner handicap at Salisbury (1½m) 29 days ago and she may do better again.
Golden Muse
Won Wolverhampton novice second time out before comfortably defying a penalty at Southwell (1½m). Further progress when third here on handicap debut before scoring again in a 9-runner handicap at Kempton (1½m) in June. Up 4 lb but she's straightforward and should continue to give a good account.
Room Fourteen
Made it 3-4 in handicaps (defeat came when chasing home a subsequent listed winner) when landing 8-runner race here (1¼m, firm) in July and wasn't at all disgraced having been raised 6 lb to this mark when 5 lengths third of 7 to Silver Lake in handicap at Goodwood (1¼m, good to firm) 42 days ago.
Bint Al Daar
Ended long losing run against her own sex at Southwell in March and shaped as if still in decent heart on her next 2 outings. Seemingly had her limitations exposed in this sort of company back on turf the last twice, though.
