Given another try over fences, JETEYE opened his chase account at the third attempt at Cartmel in July before not seen to best effect over this C&D last time. He is taken to resume winning ways in a change of headgear, with Aill Dubh the pick for second having been in good heart prior to his latest effort.

Timeform Comments

Jeteye (IRE)
As good as ever over hurdles this spring/summer and proved a different proposition to when previously tried over fences when winning a Cartmel handicap in July. Runner-up over C&D 17 days ago, finishing well after a mistake at the twelfth, and she's a major player with blinkers back on.
Uncle Al (IRE)
Prone to jumping errors but avoided mistakes when taking advantage of his reduced mark in 4-runner contest at Huntingdon (3m) in May. Wasn't in quite the same form next 2 outings, before unseating rider at the ninth over this C&D 17 days ago.
Aill Dubh (IRE)
Reacted well to a change of tactics when making all at Newcastle (23f) in March and also scored at Cartmel (21f) in July. Below-par effort at Cartmel last time but no surprise to see him bounce back. Needs to prove himself over this trip, though there might not be too much pace in the race.
Croagh Patrick (IRE)
Went off the boil for Sam England but proved he retains ability on second start for this yard when runner-up at Hexham (3m) in June. Has run poorly both starts since, though, tailed off over this C&D 17 days ago.
Bahtiyar (FR)
Long-standing maiden but ran one of his better races when third of 10 in handicap at Stratford (23f) 9 days ago. Has eased further in the weights so is capable of being in the mix.
