Timeform View

QUEEN OF SCOTLAND is hard to oppose here on the back of her debut showing, with well-bred newcomer Crown of Crowns appealing most of the opposition.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Queen Of Scotland traded at a low of 7.20 and Betfair SP of 10.50 when losing last time, a race in which it raced towards the rear.

Timeform Comments

Soul Of Appin
Make Believe filly. Half-sister to several winners, including smart 1m-13.3f winner Agent Murphy and useful 1¼m-1¾m winner Global Heat. Dam unraced. Makes a belated debut for in-form stable.
Baba Ganoush
Nathaniel filly. Green when 20¾ lengths fifth of 12 to Alshera in novice (50/1) at Kempton (11f) on debut in July. May be one for staying handicaps further down the line.
Crown Of Crowns
Frankel filly. Closely related to 3 winners, including top-class winner up to 1½m Waldgeist and smart 1½m winner Waldlied, both in France. Makes plenty of appeal on paper and is highly respected for top yard on debut.
Marquetry (IRE)
Sottsass filly. Very green when seventh of 8 in maiden at Goodwood (1¼m, heavy, 7/1) on debut 16 days ago.
Paraone
Raven's Pass filly. 100/1, last of 9 in novice at Lingfield (1¼m, AW) on debut 32 days ago.
Queen Of Scotland
58,000 gns yearling, Pinatubo filly. 15/2, plenty of encouragement when 4¾ lengths second of 8 to Chimes Of Thunder in maiden at Goodwood (1¼m, heavy) on debut 16 days ago, meeting trouble and not knocked about. Has plenty of stamina in pedigree and has obvious claims on that initial effort.
Seacole (IRE)
Showed fair form in maiden/novice events on turf this summer but failed to improve making handicap debut at Kempton last time. A minor role looks likely with first-time cheekpieces now applied.
