SLIEVE BINNIAN is well worth another chance back in much calmer waters off a reduced mark. The 3-y-os may offer most resistance, notably Hamiyan and Camino Lad.

Slieve Binnian (IRE)
Four-time course winner who confirmed his return to form when close fourth over C&D last month. Found the Irish Cambridgeshire too competitive next time but he rates a big player back in these much calmer waters.
Flame Of Forest (IRE)
Winner on second start for Karl Burke last year and good runner-up efforts to end the campaign (handicap debut final outing). Down the field both starts for this yard in early summer, though.
Nakasero (IRE)
Had eased in the weights and having attracted support, bounced back to best when head second at Naas early last month. Not in same form back here last week, though. Headgear now applied.
Lough Leane (IRE)
Won at Ballinrobe in May but turned in best effort for some time when scoring at Down Royal early this month. Excellent second off 10 lb higher at Clonmel 9 days ago, though was readily brushed aside by the winner.
Steel Cut (IRE)
Took a step back in the right direction when fourth on handicap bow at Navan but well held both starts since.
Walhaan (IRE)
Four-time C&D winner who struggled back on turf when last seen earlier this year. Last win came over C&D last December off 7 lb higher but this 10-y-o is likely to need this.
Camino Lad (IRE)
Had looked a bit wayward under pressure but responded well to headgear when off the mark in Bellewstown maiden last month. First 2 pulled clear that day and he remains unexposed ahead of his handicap debut, with the return to further likely to suit.
Tribal Moon (IRE)
Ended 2025 in good form on all-weather but not firing on all cylinders over hurdles in recent months. Blinkers back on.
Hamiyan (FR)
Maiden who got back on track in first-time headgear when a staying on fourth at Leopardstown. Failed to get involved at Naas since but worth another chance kept to this trip on all-weather bow.
Handshake (GER)
Held an Irish Derby entry when making a winning start in a 14-runner maiden (6/4) here (1m) in January. However, well beaten in decent events after 6 months off so something to prove now handicapping.
Quatre Bras (IRE)
Has largely struggled this summer but has come down the handicap as a result. Undoubtedly well treated now so worth a second look returned to his favoured surface.
Sakoku (IRE)
Best effort in maidens when second of 21 at Navan 3 weeks ago, though proved no match for the useful winner. Opening mark demands more and probably wants a stiffer test to reach full potential.
Cozone
In good form over hurdles this summer, winning at Downpatrick in June. However, made little impact on his belated return to the Flat 3 weeks ago and drops markedly in trip here. Engaged 16.17 Listowel Thursday.
Chosen One (IRE)
Maiden who ran up to her best when fourth to Lough Leane on handicap bow at Down Royal 3 weeks ago. Beaten 6¾ lengths that day but she's 12 lb better off with the winner now.
Trumph (IRE)
Sent off at 150/1 but showed a lot more when sixth in maiden at Cork last month. However, down the field switched to handicaps since and back up in trip now on all-weather debut. RESERVE.
Tyraxes (IRE)
Maiden who has been well below par on his last 3 starts. RESERVE.
Rock Of Claremont (IRE)
Well-related son of Profitable who improved again when off the mark in Gowran maiden 6 weeks ago in this headgear. That form has taken some knocks but remains unexposed heading into handicaps. RESERVE.
