Timeform View

CROWN THE FUTURE has already won here and looks the most solid option after his good second over C&D last time. Ernie McCrew was a place behind the selection on that occasion and has won at Lingfield since. Wild Rosie and Oisin Murphy's mount Roserunner also make the shortlist.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Ernie Mccrew traded at a high of 9.00 and Betfair SP of 10.00 when winning last time, a race in which it raced prominently.

Timeform Comments

Arouse (IRE)
Understandably looked rusty back from 11 months off when sixth of 8 in maiden at Lingfield (1m, all-weather) 18 days ago. Entitled to come on for the run and brings unexposed potential to this handicap debut.
Roserunner
Won a 1m Lingfield maiden second time up in December. Close second on C&D handicap debut in January and back on form when third of 10 at Windsor (1m) when last seen in June. Oisin Murphy gets the leg up back from a break.
Coxy's Star
Creditable fourth of 8 in a handicap at Lingfield (7f) last month but failed to build on it when only ninth of 14 at Kempton (1m) since.
Ahead Of Fashion
Long-standing maiden who was well held in 1m Kempton handicap a fortnight ago. A first-time tongue tie needs to have a positive effect.
Yes Waliim (IRE)
Got off the mark in 7f handicap at Lingfield (all-weather) in August and backed it up with a good second at Windsor (6f) a week later. Not so good back at Windsor in first-time cheekpieces (retained) last time and now steps back up in trip with Loughnane taking over from a 7 lb claimer.
Topathemorning
Probably flattered on her sole 2-y-o start given her struggles this year. Wears first-time cheekpieces.
Sonbelievable
Well held in 3 qualifying runs at up to 1m over the summer. Handicaps provide him with a more realistic chance but would need to see market support to consider.
Ernie Mccrew (IRE)
Gained reward for some good placed efforts in recent months (including C&D) when getting off the mark in 1m Lingfield handicap in first-time cheekpieces (retained) 16 days ago. Respected off 4 lb higher.
Crown The Future (IRE)
Course winner. 10/1, good second (Ernie McCrew third) of 12 over C&D 21 days ago, clear of rest. Major player under Marquand.
Wild Rosie
Ran one of this season's better races when fourth of 10 in handicap at Lingfield (1¼m, all-weather) 18 days ago. Has a hood and cheekpieces combined for the first time here. Claims if able to back up that Lingfield run.
Fenay Bridge (IRE)
Lightly-raced sort who was caught too far back and met trouble when eighth of 12 on C&D handicap debut 21 days ago and can be given another chance to show what she can do from this mark.
Thomas Tallis
Lightly-raced maiden. Good third of 8 on handicap debut at Southwell (1m) last month and had an excuse (denied a clear run) when down the field over this C&D since.
Kaiko
Has finished well held on all 5 turf starts, including a couple of low-grade handicaps.
