Timeform View

FOU DE TOI has left his hurdles form behind in 2 starts over fences, running to a useful level when staying on strongly for a clear-cut success at Kilbeggan last month. He is fancied to score again as he goes back up in distance, though Killaney King could yet do better as a chaser on only his second outing for current yard.

Timeform Comments

Fou De Toi (FR)
Maiden hurdler who has proved a different proposition sent chasing the last twice, runner-up in maiden at Ballinrobe in August before going one better in first-time cheekpieces at Kilbeggan (2½m). Leading contender with this step back up in trip promising to suit.
Ma Jacks Hill (IRE)
Made his second chase start a winning one in 2½m novice at Punchestown in June. After a couple of below par efforts, fared better when second of 5 in novice at Wexford (19f) 5 weeks ago, though was again reluctant at the start.
Quantum Quest (IRE)
Fairly useful staying hurdler, successful twice last season when also runner-up in Grade 3 novice at Cork. After 2 months off, made a winning chasing debut at Punchestown in June, though had things go his way. Could be in the mix with cheekpieces soon back on.
Blue Mosque (IRE)
Improved over hurdles when runner-up in handicap at Fairyhouse in April, before progressing again when landing 24-runner listed handicap at Punchestown (23f) later the same month. Task is now to transfer that form to fences after 5 months off.
Killaney King (IRE)
Point winner but still looking for a breakthrough Rules success. However, good second in handicap chase at Fairyhouse in April and, making first run since leaving Henry de Bromhead, was left with too much to do when sixth of 15 in Connacht National at Roscommon in June. Respected.
No Time To Wait (IRE)
Remains a maiden over fences and is prone to mistakes. Made the frame in novice at Fairyhouse (3¼m) in February, despite making errors, but pulled up in handicaps at Cheltenham and Punchestown since. Cheekpieces back on.
