Timeform View

ANNIE'S ANGEL was much improved when winning over C&D last time and is taken to defy a 7 lb rise faced with a similar scenario. Not In A Hurry has had just 2 starts but was a taking winner last time and should be firmly in the mix if improving for the switch to handicaps, while Might Be The One also arrives on the back of an improved success and may have more to offer.

Timeform Comments

Missus Beeton (IRE)
Fairly useful hurdler, won twice in mares handicaps last season. Showed aptitude for chasing when third of 6 to Luker's Tipple in novice chase at Tramore in August but had no chance at the weights last time and returns to hurdling needing further respite from the handicapper. Cheekpieces back on.
No Looking Back (IRE)
One-time useful hurdler who ran one of his better recent races despite not being seen to best effect when 8 lengths seventh of 20 to Fiveonefive at Galway in August but then ran no sort of race at Listowel last time. Hard to recommend.
Firebrand (GER)
Justified strong support when winning 20-runner maiden at Galway last month and backed that up with an even better effort when neck second of 7 to Cocofred in novice hurdle at Killarney 6 days ago. Makes just his second handicap hurdle start but his revised mark demands improvement.
Not In A Hurry (IRE)
Walk In The Park gelding who improved on debut when winning 11-runner maiden hurdle at Kilbeggan last month by 1¼ lengths. The assessor has taken no chances, but he remains totally unexposed and the drop back to 2m shouldn’t inconvenience him now fast-tracked into handicaps.
Dairy Force (IRE)
Career-best effort and snapped lengthy losing run when landing 12-runner handicap at Clonmel 9 days ago by ¾ length from Kome Dans Un Reve. A 5 lb rise makes life tougher, though, and his tendency to be let down by his jumping remains an ongoing concern.
Cleopatra's Needle (IRE)
Fair winning hurdler, including over C&D. Ran well when 7 lengths fourth of 20 to Venusienne in mares handicap at Galway last time. Should again be competitive but others preferred for win purposes.
Kilt (IRE)
Resumed progress when coming from last-to-first in 13-runner conditionals handicap at Listowel in September, beating a next-time-out winner. Will remain competitive off 5 lb higher but remains to be seen if this return to a more galloping track suits his style as well a sharp, left-handed one.
Annie's Angel (IRE)
Showed improved form when winning 16-runner C&D mares handicap 5 days ago, beating Victoria Kesia by 5½ lengths. A 7 lb rise doesn't look excessive in the circumstances, and she looks sure to make another bold bid.
Crystabel (IRE)
Won handicap at Sligo in July and ran best race since when 3½ lengths fourth of 10 to Midnight Eagle in similar event there last time.
Might Be The One (IRE)
Showed some improvement in first-time tongue strap when finally getting off the mark at Downpatrick last month by 8 lengths. She'll need to improve again if she's to defy an 8 lb rise for that success, but she arrives in good form and, with the tongue tie retained, may have more to offer.
