Timeform View

In a listed race where few arrive with convincing claims it might be worth chancing the fitness of TWO STARS, who enjoyed his finest hour when landing a course listed event last spring and has gone well fresh before. Last year's winner Thunderbear shaped as if on the way back when fifth in a big-field handicap at the Curragh last month and is second choice ahead of Staysound Susie.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

La Brodeuse traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP 3 times on its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Big Gossey (IRE)
Curragh specialist who has added 2 more listed wins there this year. Also runner-up in a Group 3 there last month but not at best in the Concorde last weekend. Has placed in this race before.
Tango Flare (IRE)
Useful gelding. Won conditions race at Fairyhouse in June. 33/1, 13¼ lengths last of 7 to Soul Love in Renaissance Stakes at the Curragh (6f, heavy) 13 days ago.
Thunderbear (IRE)
Won this race on soft ground for Jack Davison last year. Didn't return in much form but better signs for new yard last twice, finishing a good 3 lengths fifth of 24 in 6f Curragh handicap last month. Respected with the ground likely to be in his favour.
Two Stars (IRE)
Won a course listed race in spring 2025. Not seen since mid-field in the Group1 Flying Five at the Curragh last autumn but he's gone well fresh before. Worth chancing in a race where few arrive with compelling claims.
Bamako Beach (IRE)
Useful dual 7f winner this summer but looked wayward when last of 7 in Group 3 at Longchamp (7f, good to firm) 27 days ago, hanging badly left. Equipped with a first-time visor on the back of that (also gelded).
La Brodeuse
Debut 1m winner in France for Andre Fabre. Useful form in defeat for current yard this season. Raced closer to the pace than ideal when eighth of 14 to Fluorescence in listed race at Ayr (5.5f, soft) 22 days ago and treated as if still in form.
Staysound Susie (IRE)
Added to good record in the mud when landing a 6f Curragh handicap in April. Shaped as if a return to form may be imminent when 3¼ lengths fifth of 16 to Carla Ridge in listed race at the Curragh (6f, soft) last Sunday.
Luna Mia
Fairly useful dual winner for Michael O'Callaghan but well held in Curragh listed event on last weekend's stable debut and has plenty to find on form at this level. Cheekpieces are refitted.
Saint Agatha (IRE)
It took her a bit of time to confirm the promise of last year's soft-ground debut second but came good back on testing ground in handicap company at Cork (6f, heavy) 11 days ago. Will need to step up on that form to play a leading role here, though.
