Timeform View

CULLENAGH RAINBOW's debut form has been well advertised, and she could make her experience count second time up. Probing is the sole runner with a Group 1 entry and is very much respected, along with fellow newcomer Desert Romance, whose powerful yard has an excellent recent record in this maiden.

Timeform Comments

Constella (IRE)
Foaled February 27. €52,000 foal, 135,000 gns yearling, Starspangledbanner filly. Half-sister to 3 winners, including smart 5f-6f winner Twilight Calls and 6f winner Twilight Diamond. Makes plenty of appeal on paper, though yard yet to saddle a winning debutant this season.
Cullenagh Rainbow (IRE)
Ghaiyyath filly whose price went the right way in the sales ring. Showed promise amid greenness when 2¼-length third to useful prospects on debut at Kempton (7f, 80/1) 8 weeks ago. That form has worked out well (3 next-time-out winners) and she should do even better with hood fitted on turf debut.
Desert Romance
Foaled March 19. Dubawi filly. Dam, French 1¼m winner, half-sister to top-class winner up to 7f Pinatubo. From a fine Godolphin family. Powerful yard has won 4 previous renewals of this maiden, each of those fillies going on to be useful.
Friendly Force
Sister to connections precocious sprinting juvenile Persian Force. Did at least show a bit more than on debut when 7 lengths fifth of 10 in a C&D maiden last time (beaten when hampered over 1f out). Will make more appeal in nurseries.
Intangible Truth (IRE)
40,000 gns Sioux Nation filly from an excellent yard. Looked one for the longer term when beaten 8½ lengths (hampered at end of back straight) in a Kempton novice (7f, 40/1) on debut.
Lakota Pass (IRE)
130,000 gns Sioux Nation filly. Half-sister to 3 winners, including very smart 7.4f-1½m winner Fawkner Park and useful winner up to 12.6f Saracen Knight. Well bred but looked backward when trailing the field on debut at Ascot (1m, good, 80/1). Her future probably lies in nurseries.
Probing
Foaled March 4. Frankel filly. Dam, 5f winner on debut, later Group 3 winning sprinter at 3 yrs. Half-sister to Prix de l'Abbaye de Longchamp winner Tangerine Trees and Nunthorpe Stakes winner Alpha Delphini. Entered in next year's Irish 1000 Guineas. Very interesting newcomer for top yard.
