Timeform View

MAE AMOR has eased a little in the weights and quickly bounced right back to form when finishing second in a C&D handicap 11 days ago, disputing lead late and denied on the bob. Successful from a higher mark in the spring, she looks a big player from a handy draw. Juan Les Pins is another to consider, whilst Kinnalargy requires a market check on debut for David O'Meara. Taygar is also respected.

Timeform Comments

Mae Amor (IRE)
Big-price winner at Hamilton on return in May. Exploits a little mixed since but got right back on track having first all-weather outing of the year when second over C&D 11 days ago, disputing lead final 100 yds and just failing. Expected to be bang there again eased in class.
Juan Les Pins
Veteran course winner who had a good spell in the spring (winning twice) and confirmed himself back in better heart despite making a mess of the start when third of 10 in handicap at Southwell (5f) 16 days ago, suited by the strong pace. Return to 6f will hold no fears now and he's respected.
Kinnalargy
Novice winner at Redcar (5f) last year. Not yet kicked on this season but did post one of better efforts when fifth at York (5.4f) in July. May have needed the run (following a breathing operation) when well held back there 5 weeks ago and now starts out for a new yard. Market can guide.
Ormolulu (IRE)
Done the majority of her winning at Southwell but did run her best race of this season when second in a C&D handicap in September. However, is an increasingly tricky ride and she hasn't figured on either outing since. Losing run mounting up, too.
Wreck It Ryley (IRE)
Had a fitness edge over the majority when landing a hefty gamble in refitted blinkers at Leicester (6f) in April. Best effort since when third in a big-field Goodwood handicap (6f) in July and best not judged too harshly on each of his last 2 starts over 7f. Return to sprinting in his favour now.
Utmost Respect (IRE)
Landed the odds in 5f maiden last summer and made the frame on 2 of 3 starts in nurseries to end 2025. However, yet to scale same heights in trio of handicaps this time around and first-time visor now reached for.
Mondammej
Five-time course winner who appreciated the ease in grade when runner up on turf at Nottingham (5f) in July. Well held returned to a higher grade next 2 starts but switch back to this track rates an obvious plus from much-reduced mark (last success came from 12 lb higher here).
Secret Guest
C&D winner who finished runner-up at Southwell in January but more miss than hit since, below-form eighth of 10 at Ripon (6f) 6 weeks ago. Mark is easing though,
Harb
Kept busy this season and responded well to it, registering a fourth success of 2026 over 5f here in September. Recent exploits have lacked the same sparkle, though and a while since he defied this sort of mark.
Havanagreattime (IRE)
Useful sort at best but has struggled in 5 runs since sold from Richard Hughes. Tumbling down the grades but hard to fancy at present.
Brazen Idol
Off nearly 2 years prior to return, proving he retains his ability when twice runner-up during first half of the year on all-weather/turf and best effort for a while when fourth in a C&D handicap 10 days ago. Now his task is to back that up.
Taygar (IRE)
Runner-up 4 times during first half of the season and bounced back from a string of lesser efforts when filling same spot at Ripon (6f) 16 days ago, headed final strides. Raised 2 lb on the back of that but a repeat gives her claims on just her second all-weather start.
Pit Boss
Regular slow starter who managed to win twice over C&D earlier in the year. Well below that level in pair of turf starts following an absence and whilst return to all-weather rates a plus, he again goes without usual headgear combination.
