Timeform View

LEGENDSOFTHELAND had been in good heart prior to having excuses last time, so he is fancied to leave his latest run behind and resume winning ways. The hat-trick seeking Call Time isn't taken lightly, though, along with Rambuso Creek from his much-reduced mark.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Jenny Jerome traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP twice on its last 5 starts: Spruces Due traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 2 of its last 4 starts.

Timeform Comments

Son Of Astar
Returned to form when getting off the mark for the year at Ffos Las (5f) in August. Ran at least as well when neck second of 7 to Call Time at the same course (6f) 23 days ago and he could be in the mix in his current mood.
Call Time (IRE)
Took advantage of his career-low mark at Ffos Las (6f) last month and followed up under a penalty in 4-runner event there (5f) 17 days ago. Remains fairly treated based on the pick of last season's form, so he has possibilities in his hat-trick bid.
Jenny Jerome
Showed improved form when runner-up on handicap/seasonal debut at Bath (5f) in April. Hasn't gone on from that effort since, though, failing to come on for recent run when fourth of 12 at Salisbury (6f) last month. Drops in grade but others still more persuasive.
Aleppo Pepper (IRE)
Lightly-raced 4-y-o who shaped as if better for the run after 5 months off (had a breathing operation) when last of 9 in handicap at Yarmouth (6f) 9 days ago. Tongue strap now added as she bids for a breakthrough victory.
Legendsoftheland (IRE)
Much improved for current yard this year, winning 3 times with latest success at Ffos Las (6f) in July. Not seen to best effect up in grade at Bath last time, so no surprise to see him bounce back returned to this level.
Solid Bond (IRE)
Bounced back to form when opening her account from the front at Carlisle in September. In-and-out form since, though suffered interference when well held at Pontefract 9 days ago. Capable of getting involved.
The Fixer (IRE)
Ended a long losing run at Wolverhampton in June and has made the frame last 3 starts, leading until the final 1f when third of 8 at Lingfield on latest outing. Cheekpieces back on.
Fletcher's Flight (IRE)
From his reduced mark, made what was effectively his second start for this trainer a winning one at Chepstow in June. Below form next 3 outings, but fared better when third of 10 at Southwell 11 days ago. Task is now to back up latest effort.
Forever Glamorous
Responded well to a positive ride/first-time cheekpieces when opening his account at Ffos Las in June. Wasn't in quite the same form back there last time, ridden with more restraint when fifth of 6 to Son of Astar in August.
Rambuso Creek (IRE)
Got back to winning ways in classified event at this course (6f) in June and hasn't been seen to best effect in 2 handicaps since, meeting trouble on return from 4 months off when fourth of 14 here a week ago. Enters calculations.
Shining Guest (IRE)
Left previous form behind when second in 6-runner classified event at Yarmouth in August. However, failed by a long way to repeat that effort when well held back in handicap company at Bath 6 weeks ago.
Caitlin G
Gained a first success in classified event at Yarmouth (7f) in August. However, she benefited from having the run of the race and has failed to beat a rival in handicaps the last twice. Drops back in trip with enough to prove.
Loco Lobo
Proved she retains ability after 9 months off when third of 5 in handicap at Bath in September last year. However, after a further 13-month absence she looked rusty when well held at Catterick 2 weeks ago.
Spruces Due
Little promise in a trio of novices and fared no better sent handicapping when eighth of 9 at Wolverhampton (7f) 23 days ago. Looks to be up against it dropped in trip.
