Timeform View

YES WALIIM shaped much better than the bare result at Wolverhampton 17 days ago, denied a clear run before keeping on well, and is fancied to go one better. Maury rates a big threat if able to get into a good rhythm on the front end, while Tuesday's Wolverhampton scorer Midnight's Dream needs respecting also.

Timeform Comments

Midnight's Dream (IRE)
Fallen to a career-low mark and having also eased in to 0-55 company for the first time, he duly capitalised when landing 9-runner Wolverhampton handicap (7f) on Tuesday. Solid claims turned out quickly under a penalty.
Yes Waliim (IRE)
Off the mark over this trip at Lingfield in August and ran well in defeat at Windsor next time. Shaped well when fourth of 12 over 8.6f at Wolverhampton 17 days ago, not getting a clear run, and he should be bang there back at 7f here.
Barry The Worm
Bounced back to win a 10-runner handicap over 7f at Wolverhampton 24 days ago with headgear removed, taking his record at the track to 2 wins from 3 starts. Now 4 lb higher and needs to prove himself as effective at this venue.
Little Beck Annie
Off the mark over 6f at Carlisle in June in first-time cheekpieces and ran well when second of 11 there 36 days ago, twice encountering trouble. Looks worth another try back up to 7f and isn't without hope.
Able Astra (IRE)
No progress in handicaps yet, including when fifth of 10 at Wolverhampton 16 days ago on her return from 10 weeks off. Plenty more required.
Eldeyaar (IRE)
Bounced back to form in September with a second at Catterick over 6f then third of 11 as favourite at Ripon 19 days ago. May prove vulnerable to younger legs belatedly trying 7f here.
Turbo Command (IRE)
Has won 3 times over C&D but hasn't fully fired for over 2 years and looks best opposed once more.
Timebar
Still a maiden after 19 runs but showed promise when second at Newcastle over 7f in July. Only seventh of 13 in a handicap over 1m here when last seen in August, but the return to 7f could help and small stable has had a couple run well recently so could figure with cheekpieces reapplied.
Coiled (IRE)
Winless in 22 starts and efforts in handicaps this year haven't been encouraging. Now refitted with tongue strap.
Maury (IRE)
Good second of 13 in a handicap at Kempton 10 days ago. Running well when allowed to stride on, the same tactics employed for his only win. Could go well again if getting his way out in front.
My Mate Beattie (IRE)
Out of sorts and visor replacing cheekpieces looks unlikely to change that.
Aurora's Doublesix (IRE)
Long-standing maiden who looks impossible to fancy.
Lady V (IRE)
Yet to win in 6 starts but ran best race when fifth of 10 in a handicap at Kempton 10 days ago, making late headway. Now tries first-time blinkers up against much more exposed rivals.
Mariselle (IRE)
Hard to fancy on what she's shown in 5 starts to date and hopes are pinned on the step up in trip, which should suit on pedigree. Equipment worn last time now discarded.
