Timeform View

An open-looking nursery on paper but the eye is drawn to MRS BLUE, who is far less exposed than the rest and Ollie Sangster's filly looks to have been allotted a lenient opening mark. C'est Lui got back on track when fifth at Wolverhampton recently, so he could emerge as the main danger with Sean Levey taking over in the plate, with Chianti and Naval Cop taken to fight out minor honours.

Timeform Comments

Quiet Soul (IRE)
Left Michael Dods and ran best race since debut back on tapeta when fourth of 10 in maiden over C&D just over 6 weeks ago. Needs to build on that returned to a nursery.
Naval Cop
Improved a fair bit to make a winning nursery debut at Chepstow (5f, soft) in late-August. Found life tougher in higher grade at Chester next time and ran poorly back down in class at Ffos Las (5f, heavy) since. Makes all-weather debut.
Chianti
Advanced his form on all-weather debut with a short-head second of 11 in nursery at Wolverhampton early last month. Failed to repeat that in first-time cheekpieces when sixth of 9 there a fortnight later, though probably overdid things on the front end. First-time blinkers now tried.
Mrs Blue (FR)
Blue Point filly who left debut form well behind when second of 5 in maiden at Hamilton (5f, soft) last month. Far less exposed than most of her opposition and opening mark looks very lenient. Big chance.
Sable Island
Winless in 9 starts but back on track returned to a maiden when third of 9 at Wolverhampton (5f) just under a fortnight ago. Task is to translate that back to nursery company.
Justice Time (IRE)
Standout effort when fifth of 7 in a Wolverhampton novice (5f) last month, though that isn't itself solid form. Needs this switch to a nursery to bring out further progress.
Spectacular Diver (IRE)
Returned to something like his debut form when third in a Beverley novice (5f) in early-August (gelded prior). Down the field on all 3 starts since, though best not judged on his latest effort (went off too hard). Back in a nursery for his all-weather debut.
Lola
In the frame in a pair of 5f novices at Windsor and Wolverhampton first 2 runs but well held in 6f nurseries there since though. Tongue strap/cheekpieces go on for the first time.
C'est Lui (IRE)
Showed promise when a debut sixth in maiden at Bath. Back to that sort of level without being seen to best effect when fifth of 9 in nursery at Wolverhampton (5f) recently (weakening when snatched up final 50 yds). Each-way claims with Levey taking over in the plate.
Alpha Legend (IRE)
Offered something to work on dropped to what will probably prove a wholly inadequate trip when seventh of 9 in nursery at Wolverhampton (5f) last month. Blinkers/hood combination now tried but others more appealing kept to this trip.
Persian Sunset (IRE)
Persian Force filly who looked a potential improver on nursery debut but proved to be a disappointment when fourth of 5 at Ffos Las (5f, good to firm) back in mid-July. Has since left Kevin Philippart De Foy very cheaply (1,400 gns) and first-time cheekpieces go on.
Walt (IRE)
Well held all 3 starts, gelded prior to latest but again proved way too free at Beverley last month. Allotted a basement mark but needs a significant step forward on all-weather bow.
Black Treasure (FR)
No impact all 4 starts. Makes nursery debut with the hood discarded and needs to leave previous efforts well behind.
