GRANDE CUVEE produced a below-par effort on handicap debut last time, but she had been progressing well prior to that and is taken to bounce back as she returns to maiden company. She gets the vote ahead of Osterode, who has finished runner-up on her last 2 starts, with My Cubby Bear also considered.

Timeform Comments

Astute Power (IRE)
Best effort when third in this race last year. After 4 months off, showed more than on first 2 starts this season when fourth of 13 in maiden here 2 weeks ago, so he could be in the mix at this venue.
Bell's Soldier (IRE)
Soldier's Call gelding. Half-brother to several winners, including winner up to 1m Sharnberry (2-y-o 6f winner) and winner up to 6f Master Rooney, both useful. May just be better for this first experience.
Dreaminthejungle (IRE)
Made a promising reappearance when fifth in 24-runner maiden at the Curragh (6f) in April. Wasn't in the same form next time, but after 5 months off he ran well when second of 13 at this course 2 weeks ago. Task is now to build on recent effort.
Port Arthur (IRE)
Ran up to his best in first-time blinkers when second in 11-runner maiden at the Curragh (6f) last month. Didn't manage to back that up when fifth of 13 here 2 weeks ago, but he represents last year's winning trainer of this race. Makes first start over the minimum trip.
Saint Acclaim (IRE)
Ran below market expectations on debut in June, but was again well backed and left that effort behind when second of 14 in claiming maiden at Dundalk (6f) last month. Open to further improvement after only the 2 starts so far.
What's Enough (IRE)
Showed ability when third of 7 in a Bellewstown maiden (6f) on debut at the end of last month. Failed to progress when sixth of 13 at this course (6f) only a week later, though wasn't ideally drawn.
Allirelandmaterial (IRE)
Making her first start, can have the run overlooked as she was hampered leaving the stalls when eleventh of 13 in maiden over this C&D in May. Absent 5 months since.
Blessed By Faith (IRE)
Hasn't made much impact in a pair of maidens so far, at this course on debut before sixth of 9 at Dundalk (6f) 5 days ago. Looks one for further down the line.
Grande Cuvee (IRE)
Progressed with each of her first 4 starts, collared in the dying strides in a Cork maiden (6f) in August. Disappointing favourite making her handicap debut over the same C&D 6 weeks ago, but she's worth another chance given her profile previously.
My Cubby Bear (IRE)
After 11 months off, got back on track when runner-up in 6f maiden at Cork in September. Wasn't able to build on that effort when third of 13 at this course only 8 days later, but she could yet do better tried over the minimum trip for the first time.
Osterode (IRE)
Confirmed debut promise at the second attempt when runner-up in maiden at Down Royal last month. Wasn't able to land the odds at Bellewstown 3 weeks ago, just failing to reel in the front runner, but she can make her presence felt.
